Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Washington and nearby locations:

  • doc_drops Santa Drops is coming to Toon 🎅🎅 (@doc_drops) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

You’re rolling out 5G when Newcastle doesn’t even have basic coverage, I have a 50GB contract with you and barely manage to use 2GB a month due to lack of signal/searching for free Wifi @O2

  • timlibrarian Tim Fowler (@timlibrarian) reported from Bearpark, England

I suspect if I cancelled the three direct debits I pay every month to @O2 they’d find time to get in touch with me. Help with setting up a new phone when their online SIM swap is banjaxed, not so much.

  • doc_drops Spooky Scary Skeledrops🎃🎃🎃 (@doc_drops) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@O2 Your service in NE2 is shocking

  • sheilavictoriaR Sheila Robson (@sheilavictoriaR) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

@O2 what a waste of money it is I pay for you're service every month. Another mast issue in my area, no calls or texts all day, I ise this phone for buisness Yet again lost more money through o2 and the rubbish equipment I've never had this issue with any other service provider

  • craigblundred Craig Blundred (@craigblundred) reported from Whitley Bay, England

@O2 hi - my wife has been trying to resolve issue with SMS settings - have disappeared yet again. Spent over an hour on live chat but keeps getting passed to different teams then cut off. Has happened before we know what needs to be done but very poor service now.

  • petern280 peter nixon (@petern280) reported from Springwell, England

@O2 is there an issue with the app data counter, mines said unavailable for the last few days

  • kirstynewcastle kirsty widdowfield (@kirstynewcastle) reported from Durham, England

@O2 been charged for a premium service that wasn’t me. How do I go about getting a refund when I can’t get through on the number that billed me

  • ilovefluffy andrew 🎃 (@ilovefluffy) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@2bard @intueldonsquare @northumbriapol You're right in normal circumstances, however my phone signal keeps cutting out while @O2 are upgrading to 5G, last week a man had a seizure in front of me and I was getting repeatedly disconnected from the emergency services while trying to get an ambulance.

  • doc_drops Spooky Scary Skeledrops🎃🎃🎃 (@doc_drops) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@O2 Your coverage in most of Newcastle is shocking, I live in NE2 and the best signal I get is 1 bar of 3G in my iPhone 7

  • ilovefluffy 🎃👻💀🙀🧟‍♂️ #booToYou (@ilovefluffy) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@O2 so… appalling service, no signal abroad, no signal at home… thought I might try to refresh my phone but it turns out that I can’t because last year there was a delay in getting my phone to me so my usual refresh date in October has been pushed back til November!

  • fredspoon philip (@fredspoon) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

Lots of companies doing their bit to help. I got an email from @O2 this morning and how they are helping is allowing people to access the @NHSuk websites without using your data. Whoopy ******* doodle do. I can’t wait it’s like Christmas all over again.

  • ilovefluffy Andrew Willis (@ilovefluffy) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

The speeds I’m getting from Sky Fibre Max are appalling too, sometimes I can’t even use it, it’s so awful, like scraping the barrel speeds and connectivity which just isn’t worth it. @O2 to the rescue here though because their 4G tether speeds are usually faster than Sky Fibre.

  • AngieOrrick Angie Orrick (@AngieOrrick) reported from Walker Gate, England

@O2 you have the worst customer service ever encountered! If I could stop paying you I would! That’s your shop and by telephone

  • DarrenMorgan Darren (@DarrenMorgan) reported from Washington, England

    @BootneckShuffle @O2 @EE Never had a problem with O2 untill I switched my DD date. They're hopeless

  • headcoverlova Paul Frampton (@headcoverlova) reported from Bearpark, England

@O2 really bad customer service to offer a free streaming service a lot of families could use right now only for new customers. Other networks offering free services for all customers. Make me think you don’t value loyal customers at all

  • engg_rky Raj (@engg_rky) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

As expected @EE never cares about customer relationship and thus had not replied. @VodafoneUK @O2 if you have better options for me with 500 min India calls per month then please contact me I will port my number

  • _RebeccaJT Rebecca (@_RebeccaJT) reported from Sunderland, England

@O2 can someone please give me a response to a query, I have had an automated reply in dm which not helpful in anyway. I have tried my o2 app and it doesn’t help. I have also tried ringing o2 just keep getting cut off.

  • ilovefluffy 🎃👻💀🙀🧟‍♂️ #booToYou (@ilovefluffy) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

So to be straight: because @O2 have been terrible for over a year, I can’t refresh my phone until after I get back from my Christmas trip! You’re very VERY quickly losing a customer here and I’ve been with o2 for nearly 15 years.

  • ilovefluffy andrew 🎃 (@ilovefluffy) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@O2 I was supposed to get a free upgrade every 12 months but your "problems with supply" last year meant that I didn't get my new phone for over a month after I requested it, so my refresh date is a month later, which pushes it past my annual christmas trip. It's a farce.

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • kllyflzn K e l l y ✌🏻 (@kllyflzn) reported

@O2 Old number is Pay As You Go, never received any confirmation. I tried the form both ways, as one would keep sending me back to the homepage.

  • steveprioruk Steve Prior (@steveprioruk) reported

@O2 Hi. Have you got a problem with 4G in South Somerset? Can’t appear to get any data at all?

  • TheKaramel22 Katherine (@TheKaramel22) reported

@O2 any ideas why I have full bars of 4G the last week and I constantly have “no internet connection” when searching/going on apps? I’ve done all the steps, turned on & off - checked the local checker for any issues and states no problems. I’m not paying £40 a month for nothing..

  • MitchMatthewss Mitch Matthews (@MitchMatthewss) reported

@O2 worst customer service going! Spent a week now trying to upgrade my phone for it to be cancelled when it was on delivery because you can’t spell my name correct! Still can’t order it because you’ve blocked me from getting on the website to accept the details!

  • LilyPinkBaker 👻 Claire (@LilyPinkBaker) reported

@O2 But how can I miss out? Surely the allocation should be enough for each customer to have one. And why is it now only once a month?

  • via_flav Flavia (@via_flav) reported

@O2 issue with my priority code not working. Please assist. Just had an embarrassing moment in the shop.

  • rftimson Stefan Haselwimmer 🇺🇦 (@rftimson) reported

@O2 Surely you should release more codes? I never used to see "Out of stock" so consistently.

  • itspaulactually Paul (@itspaulactually) reported

Hey @O2 - any chance of some signal in say, I dunno, some part of the north of England?!

  • smithy15493 Jacob Smith (@smithy15493) reported

@o2 Everyone i’ve spoken to has said the same. How can it be this bad for this long and an entire town/area affected? We at least want to know that it’s being worked on, or there is no point in being a customer.

  • Taylod61 ❌ David Taylor 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧❌ (@Taylod61) reported

This is brilliant @o2 4G signal strength 541kbps and we’re paying money for this
