@O2 I have spent three hours on chat and on hold on the telephone trying to find out why I have not received the SIM card I ordered on Sunday. Nobody seems to know why it hasn’t been dispatched. I’m told I have to cancel the order and re-order. Customer service: ABYSMAL!

They're basically allowing their UK customers to access their own network they have in EU. These are networks UK based mobile firms don't have so have to pay to access.
