Your mistake - not ours - lost the ability to connect to fibre. Two of us work from home (1 of us - me - runs a business) and one is studying at Uni. This is totally unacceptable. I asked to upgrade to Fibre BBand almost 2 weeks ago, the line was upgraded last Weds night, however you only sent the router out that night. It still hasn’t arrived, leaving me without internet.

Kevin Dewes (@kevindewes) reported from Wandsworth, England@Ofcom @Plusnet are letting you sign up to a contract when there’s a distinct chance the firmware they are using on their hardware is causing connectivity problems specifically with the 5Ghz band. Meaning the service is almost unusable on some devices. Isn’t that an issue?

Later, they provided engineer visit services and told me that actually I don't need to connect to the Microfilter as required on the handbook, but just use the cable to connect to the socket. Then the network can be used.

OpenReach engineer shows up without ringing bell, slaps fibre entry point on some random side of the house, leaves without checking in. PlusNet complaint emails just bounce back. Great.

Plusnet CHOSE not to provide the service - their loss.

Big Dave (@bigdavesnokia) reported@ArmchairAdml Got my mum Plusnet full fibre 145 package for 25 quid (existing customer 2Y contract) and 1p mobile 1000 mins and 10gb data for £7.20 recently (no contract). She's 82 and makes most of her calls on WhatsApp and telegram nowadays anyway. Did have to do away with the landline tho.
