Remember it will be behind closed doors so fans can’t get involved. If they can find a way to finish it safely without any risk then do it as long as their is no risk. He’s going to his right and reacts to the deflection which means he saw it. Him being sat there does nothing to stop the fact he can’t shift his dorection quick enough
