@SkyHelpTeam We’ve had a call today claiming to be needing to check our broadband for issues we’ve had and they had permission from sky head office. The callers English was very poor & the background was noisy. Does this sound like something which is real or a scam?

@SkyHelpTeam That it would still be affected by the trees. Currently the line of sight in its current location hits the very centre / bulk of the tree. The location I suggested I think at worst would clip some lower branches. I think if mounted low enough it would not hit the tree at all.

@leerobson23 @SkyUK Aye it's not their problem cause they are getting money and pie people off with that bs. It's been same everywhere I've lived mate here, Leam, Deckham, Fawdon and Kenton bar. Sky broadband is the one constant in it all. I've spoke to them loads all I ever get is "it looks fine"

@SkyHelpTeam @SkyHelpTeam engineer attended and unable to fix the issue, we have 2 mini boxes not working. Advised to buy external products to make your WiFi better, at a cost to us or we can have it all hardwired. Having to currently use mobile data as WiFi is patchy and I’m stood by router

@powell_mick @SkyHelpTeam @SkyUK Agree with this. Our previous Sky box gave us no problems whatsoever - worked perfectly for a good number of years. Then we went to a SkyQ box. Refuses to even turn on a lot of the time.
