I already have Disney+ through Disney but although I can get it on my new Sky Q box it tells me I have to subscribe. As I pay for the Disney+ and not Sky I don’t want to add it to the bill. Netflix stuck at 25% and not a soul on any gadgets at the moment. I know the world is on WiFi right now. Ideas?

If you cancel, you pay a cancellation fee. Moral of the story: NEVER EVER RENEW! Allow your contract to expire, then move elsewhere.

It's something that winds me up - insurance, mobile phone etc. Contract ending then we should be treated as new customers to ensure we don't go somewhere else.

Jon (@JonJlydiatt) reported@cxdi55 @skytv @SkyHelpTeam I had the same issue with sky a few Months back, what I had to do was sign up under another name(wife) take the broadband deal with tv package(even though we didn’t want it) then I sent back the little tv dongle, and cancel that and just kept the BB, was the only way of doing it

Been with them 11 years, decided to move away from Sky, but at the last contract renewal they tied me in to the full package until July 2027. 130 quid and there’s nothing on that I want to watch that I can’t get on iPlayer, itvx or netflix

You’re paying £90 a mth to watch the exact same TV that they are advertising the exact same channels to a new customer for £50 per mth. Mind boggling!
