@SkyHelpTeam our broadband stopped working 20 minutes ago. It was absolutely fine until then although lots of people where I live have been having issues recently. Have done all the tests still doesn’t work. Amber smiley face lit on hub. Help.

@helen_george @naddimartin @SkyHelpTeam Just had Sky/openreach out to fix ours. The system at the junction box in the street, reduces the speed automatically to give you a speed that doesn’t drop out, but, doesn’t increase it if the signal gets better. So the speed will always get worse, until an engineer resets it.

@SkyHelpTeam we’ve had trouble with broadband being slow last couple of days, pages slow to load, downloading on demand troublesome despite line test saying it’s OK - it’s not! Downdetector shows a nationwide issue of some sort what’s happening?

@SkyHelpTeam Worked for 2 minutes in Denby Dale but not working again now, have been through all the diagnostics a few times and getting slow download speeds reported but no apparent issues otherwise, router is lit up normally but am fully on 4G to write this as no internet access on WiFi

@SkyHelpTeam Yes followed all the steps. It’s not just mine, it’s at least 2 neighbours on my street and 1 other lady half a mile away. Im not paying for an engineer to come out when it’s not something I have caused. There is quite clearly another issue
