@jammierooroo @SkyUK BT pulled similar **** with my elderly mum, they persuaded her she needed their WiFi net stuff at 40 quid extra a month. It's meant so you can get a signal 50 metres away in your summer house or similar, she lives in a one bedroom sheltered housing flat.

  • ChrisLo64073416
    Chrilow (@ChrisLo64073416) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK Cancel it altogether, she won't miss it, people think they can't live without it. Get a Freesat box, there's plenty to watch on there. Best wishes to her.

  • my_cat_rocks
    MS (@my_cat_rocks) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK I still came believe in these times, that you can sign up to these contracts and upgrades online or at a push of a button. When when you want to downgrade or cancel your contract, you need to speak to somebody. Rip off

  • BootsieBlanche
    Bootsie🏆 (@BootsieBlanche) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK Most phone companies have a lower rate by about a 1/3rd if someone is on a fixed income and even more discount is available if she has tv & phone w same provider. Also make official complaint so it's escalated to a manager and they should offer cash or credit as a sorry.

  • Therealdonnab42
    D (@Therealdonnab42) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK My mum gave me permission to speak to them & it took around 2 weeks to resolve. They admitted it was insensitive, poor judgement & customer service given circumstances. Contract was cancelled with no penalty & mum rec’d compensation as a goodwill gesture.

  • dalot_diog57679
    Diogo dalot (@dalot_diog57679) reported

@talkSPORT @SkySports @NOW Big retard can’t form his own opinion and has to read it off the screen

  • Alexgoldie156
    Alex Goldie (@Alexgoldie156) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK Just cancel it. You have 14 days to do so without penalty (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). The make sure that you remove any further business from them. Ringing and being aggressive will just have your call terminated by them.

  • yug8378
    Lisa Roulston (@yug8378) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK You get 2 weeks cooling off period - just cancel it

  • JaysterW
