TalkTalk Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Ruth Lampard (@ruth_lampard) reported@TalkTalk I said I want to speak to a customer service agent. That apparently was the key phrase that took me to a person. The Chat could have told me that. It didn’t. I’m have concluded the @TalkTalk chat is a poorly programmed AI designed to frustrate engagement with customers.
-
Sixpence (@Sixpenc97002536) reported@devonboy3410 @GBNEWS I’m with TalkTalk but it’s pretty poor since they ‘upgraded’ my area … We regularly either lose the internet or the signal is too weak to watch a digital tv programme, buffering every couple of minutes so it becomes unwatchable

Catherine Arthur (@CatArthurian) reportedUpdate... They want my 82 yr old mum to send a speed test result by connecting the computer (upstairs) to the router (downstairs) via ethernet cable (which they don't have). 🤨 I explained that they won't be able to do that - they don't have a laptop, and it's not practical to unplug their pc and relocate it next to the router - they just can't physically do it. TalkTalk were not interested and insist it's the only way they can check if they are not receiving the correct speeds – although they did tell me during my first call that they could see the speed was only 12mbps...🤔 They will send an ethernet cable by post anyway, or could send someone out to do it – £150 call out fee. Never mind. Contract ends in October and won't be renewed... Nice service for the elderly, what?

Tony Notman (@TonyNotman49593) reported@devilscustard @TalkTalk Typical behaviour of companies when you do not pay for the service they failed to provide. Better to ignore them. They will eventually go away. BT, Vodafone, and virgin have tried this with me.
-
Mini67!x (@jellywellys99) reported@TalkTalk what a shameful company to send a disabled customer and email with DAGGERS as bullet points! I am trying to set up a payment plan to pay my final bill but refused as I'm no longer a customer I am struggling with debt I will be taking this to the papers!
-
RoslynByfield (@RoslynByfield) reported@TalkTalk no broadband since 4 pm. Very poor considering your charges.
-
Toby The Kinky Latex Catboy (@KinkToby) reportedgod talktalk support is so useless. What do you mean ive been talking to you for 3 hours and you tell me to turn my hub off and on again?? I did that 3 ******* hours ago!!!!!
-
Twiggy Bigwood (@devilscustard) reported@CroneThe86880 @TalkTalk Oh ******! That sounds awful. My partner has now had an email from Moorcroft. It would be helpful if @TalkTalk actually told Moorcroft that they didn’t provide a service - and this is why we do not owe them anything.

G (@gilbertsanchz) reportedReal world weight, then the fix. SQL injection has powered some of the largest breaches in history. The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.
