I've discovered that if you're not with Virgin for broadband you have Openreach, they service all others from Sky to EE, TalkTalk to BT. Also, Openreach outsource work so beware dodgy contractors!

@TalkTalk your customer services is horrendous. Ring up to cancel a policy & I can’t either understand a word of what’s being said, they cut me off or you can’t hear thing due to people talking in the background, it’s a like a cattle market!! Can someone DM to deal with this ASAP

@TalkTalk 7 days no connection at all...New box sent, still not working. 72 hour wait for call back (at selected time) rang out of selected time so couldn't take call. Paying out for apps I can't access, paying for connection I don't have. Please help, @TalkTalk

@TalkTalk It is still the same yeah, and we have run the checks. The line check was done and said it sorted something but issue still ongoing. Obviously can't ring the issue through as call centres shut.

Hi @TalkTalk Cant get onto your service centre web page to check connection, and when i try other pages so slow to load, hamster wheel running slowly on pages and line keeps dropping out all day.

@TalkTalk Nice... Just did a speed test and I managed to drop from an already terrible connection of 17 download and 0.50 upload to 3! Download and 0.38 Upload, now I'm for sure going to be able to stream with lovely bitrate like that.
