My wife has just come off the phone to #talktalk an hour of persistently being told by them that their internet is fine, we don't need a new router as our original 6 yr old one is fine its probably my 6 month old laptop that's the problem!!!!!

@BBCWatchdog - we eventually paid #talktalk 6 months of the remaining contract to get away from them. They were just awful on every level. Simply appalling service and bandwidth.

@Chimpman @nburdy I find my (ancient) Apple TV box really struggles with buffering, dropping the wifi connection mid-programme, etc. Not sure if this is due to the age of the device, poor TalkTalk wifi or a combination.

Talk talk- my mother's landline is not working, now for 3 weeks. She is elderly, infirm, has falls and as a consequence has an emergency call button/service also 3weeks has not worked. Numerous calls to TalkTalk and assurances to fix it but still not fixed. Appalling!

@MillieWiller @TalkTalk Had trouble with them around 10 years ago Had no internet or landline for 3 weeks Kept telling me they were going to charge me £100 for a call out. My mates dad worked for BT at the time he came round and put a new box in all it cost me was a case of lager Hope you get it fixed

@talktalk after not connecting a service and promising there would be no charge, guess what, charged! Way to treat my 78 year old mum. 10 hours getting this far with your terrible customer service and my mum completely distressed by your company! Avoid this company
