    @BBCWatchdog - we eventually paid #talktalk 6 months of the remaining contract to get away from them. They were just awful on every level. Simply appalling service and bandwidth.

    My wife has just come off the phone to #talktalk an hour of persistently being told by them that their internet is fine, we don't need a new router as our original 6 yr old one is fine its probably my 6 month old laptop that's the problem!!!!!

    @TalkTalk engineer called, said that connection in house was fine, all problems are outside. In the past 5 minutes, I have received 2 texts from @TalkTalk, asking me to check home connection. I have done so (even though engineer said ok), but cannot reply to texts. SNAFU

    @TalkTalk Well after resetting and setting everything back to the old modem all work- so is the newer modem faulty? Do I get a replacement? Or if I keep the old one is there a firmware upgrade as I don’t like the message of “weak security” thanks for your help

    So far, I have been over an hour on the phone to @TalkTalk, and have been passed round to three people. This is the third time that I have called about cancelling my upgrade. Promised calls from manager that have not happened. That’s without the technical issues outstanding...

    Now informed that I am to be transferred again. @TalkTalk’s lack of customer service is astonishing.

    @TalkTalk Well long story but TT sent me a new Modem when I renewed my contract last year, then I bought Amazon gear and connected it to my home network, 2months later there was a problem with the land line (BT fixed it) then my XBox Wii Printer and Amazon gear couldn’t connect to 2.4ghz

    @OpenreachHelp Hi David, I have asked @TalkTalk to escalated this matter now as getting fed up with the continue problem. Fault was cleared on Tuesday and seem to work yesterday. Then this morning OR engineer worked on pole outside their house for new line for neighbour.

    @TalkTalk there seems to be broadband connection issues in the SN2 area. Been going on since 12pm.
