Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Marina Robb (@MarinaRobb) reported@MelJanie @virginmedia Tellingly, the engineer who eventually came out (I'd already cancelled the service) said they still had to fit the back up line as they'd been fined £28 million by the regulator. Appalling customer service though.
-
Expanse Consulting Ltd (@ExpanseCon) reported@MartinXTweets @VodafoneIreland Not a vodafone issue. Looks like a core switch failure, optical cross-connect fault or other fault inside one of the central carrier-neutral hubs. It has dropped interconnection across multiple fixed ISPs (Virgin Media, Eir, Siro, NBI) simultaneously.
-
Peter Miller (@PeteinExeter) reported@virginmedia another outage in the EX4 area. 3 in a matter of a week. Looking forward to speaking to your complaints dept. next week as I will be cancelling my account
-
Our Electric World (@O_E_W) reported@TheEvEngineer @gigaclear @MartinSLewis I used to get the same with Virgin Media when it was our only option. Simple solution is to swap and change to the cheaper deals. I got an Orbi mesh router a while back. It should help simplify our next swap as it keeps the same network name whatever company we’re with.
-
For Hod,for Harry, for England & St george (@CoulsdonTHFC) reported@virginmedia over a month with broadband issues, still not rectified after being told intermittent service, engineer visit & new router. Now intermittent service AGAIN .Quick enough to raise prices but not fix problems. Still no compensation either. NOT HAPPY 😡
