@virginmedia... broadband has been down all day and expected back at 5:25pm, still not working. Now, recheck the app and not expected back until 8am tomorrow! Seriously?! Why? What has happened? How can it be down for that long? Ridiculous, especially when people work from home.

@virginmedia services in #Thanet have been off since 1am on the 23rd December and now you are pushing it back until 2pm today for a fix and still no engineer on site - that will be over 36 hours with zero updates to customers right before Christmas. What is happening?!

@virginmedia not had internet, for 24 hours. I spoke to customer services at 18:00 who “guaranteed it would be fixed by 21:25” I checked this 3 times as, at that point, I could arrange alternatives to finish work for Xmas. Now I can’t and still have no internet. Appalling!

Morning @virginmedia, I’m starting to become a little fed up with your current business model. You take my money, but supply a less than reliable WiFi service. Will it take a cancelled direct debit to get your attention? Please fix. 😡

    Pete 😷 #COVIDisAirborne (@PeteUK7) reported

@virginmedia Good heavens. You think an AI response sending me back to the beginning of the bereavement process is in any way appropriate? It doesn't deal with my issue or answer the questions I asked. Find a human, a senior one at your place and do this properly.

  • stewiejohn2
    Danger Mouse 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@stewiejohn2) reported

@Tony_Minter @OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Yes you are correct. I was thinking of a delay to service starting. The latest increase means that providers will now need to pay out £10.34 per day for delayed repairs, £32.31 for missed appointments and £6.46 per day for a delay to the start of a new service.

  • MakelyStudio
    Ali@Makely (@MakelyStudio) reported

10 years. 50M+ users. £11M+ revenue impact. Citibank. Mercedes. Sky. Virgin Media. NatWest. I spent a decade fixing conversion problems at companies most startups would kill to work with. what I learned: the same broken patterns show up everywhere - onboarding that loses people in the first 60 seconds, pricing pages that confuse instead of convert, signup flows with friction nobody ever fixed. now I build the same systems for funded startups.

  • ArrEssVeeTwin
    Mike (@ArrEssVeeTwin) reported

@_Alfista @jen_moxon @virginmedia Genuinely never had an issue. BT twice ignored the ombudsman’s ruling when they ****** me over tho. In the end they paid me £80 to leave. The only way to renew with Virgin is to go to cancellations tho. And they’ll still **** it up
