  • cdyer98
Claire Dyer ⚯͛ ⁷ (@cdyer98) reported from Great Shelford, England

@virginmedia internet down in cb22 . system checker says nothing is wrong and fiancé is fast asleep (and knows all the passwords) so can’t get through to report the issue- usual 12.30 drop (5mins ish) happened and then it cut off completely at 4.20am

  • nleaney
Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@virginmedia @JohnJef51763960 I’ve added log files to the Virgin community and have been assured that someone will be looking at the issue. From the logging feedback received suggest this is not a customer premises issue.

  • lizziespeller
Elizabeth Speller (@lizziespeller) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@Football101blog @virginmedia And it’s not just one customer. Is there some magic number of customers that make a complaint valid? When you have a business to run, a job to do- and are in lockdown already- days without internet are a major problem.

  • danj2k
Dan Jackson (@danj2k) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

Hey @virginmedia why is my Internet up and down like a yoyo this morning? Are your systems breaking down under the load of people completing the census or something?

  • Jenacious_D
Jenacious_D (the D is a Tribute) (@Jenacious_D) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@dcb72 @virginmedia I reckon it’ll be just before the point at which they’d have to pay compensation for the outage.

  • harmsy
Andrew “2 m away” Harmsworth (@harmsy) reported from Oakington and Westwick, England

Virgin Media. Two words synonymous with Customer Disservice.

  • Liam_safe_hands
Munty (@Liam_safe_hands) reported from Bar Hill, England

@virginmedia Back up and running, but not happy with the service

  • Jagercraig
Craig (@Jagercraig) reported from Saint Neots, England

@virginmedia Ok I’ve ordered, but didn’t see the option to change delivery date, can you help?

  • AdamRPhoto
adamrobertson.co.uk (@AdamRPhoto) reported from Godmanchester, England

@virginmedia Yes, but I want to talk to someone instead as I’m still having issues and your software doesn’t catch them as the connection is back up by the time I’ve logged in and run them

  • ChrisRandWrites
Chris Rand (@ChrisRandWrites) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

Would love to watch the new Spitting Image getting so much hype, but paying £6 a month for yet another streaming service, with the added privilege of having to bodge a cable from my iPad to watch it on TV because it's not on Virgin Media or PS4? No thanks. #SpittingImage

  • Liam_safe_hands
Munty (@Liam_safe_hands) reported from Bar Hill, England

@virginmedia Internet down again?!?! Dial up was more reliable then your supposed super fast broadband. Waste of money

  • nleaney
Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@virginmedia broadband outage in CB245* again. A couple of short outages today already but this seems to be a bit longer and nothing on your status page to indicate a problem...

  • MarkLittlewood
Follow @BoSConference it is better than me. (@MarkLittlewood) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

So good to know @virginmedia is down again.

  • fliss2210
Fliss (@fliss2210) reported from Saint Ives, England

@virginmedia you've been very quick to take my money over the years but when you want to cancel a contract no phone lines and no clear way to do it online?? Your web chat is appalling! This is horribly painful

  • Liam_safe_hands
Munty (@Liam_safe_hands) reported from Bar Hill, England

@virginmedia Do you think this is exceptable?? No TV or Internet for the whole day. The fix time keeps getting pushed back too. Never had any of these problems with @SkyUK

  • Lord_Drainlid
Mick Brown (@Lord_Drainlid) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@steveeejg It looks like to get a basic fibre service it might be around £25 and for higher speed from about £40 monthly. One test is will they charge to plug a home phone into a router and allow a landline no to be transferred? Virgin Media charges, putting the monthly rate up to about £55

  • NikkiMentoring
NIKKI STOCK | Mentor| Marketing|Networker| (@NikkiMentoring) reported from Fenstanton, England

@zimmro @virginmedia If it’s any comfort I have had major issues in the last six weeks with my broadband. I think it is sheer overload with so many people working from home on domestic broadband they just can’t cope.

  • Lardyda44
James (@Lardyda44) reported from Biggleswade, England

    @virginmedia Customer Services....

  • GoMcMahon
#DocMartin (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England

@virginmedia I have tried every method to get a response and a solution from customer support and it's now another week gone by that we can't use the V6 box because you haven't sent me a small cable adapter. @Ofcom you could be more firm with companies that let customers down!

  • lizziespeller
Elizabeth Speller (@lizziespeller) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@pbw1000 @virginmedia Same problem here, same timing, also in CB4. Told it was an area problem. But now told it’s fixed so not their problem so must be ours. Next call told it might be their problem! Daughter is NHS Dr trying to work online @virginmedia

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • UAVHive
    UAVHive (@UAVHive) reported

Virgin Media simply do not seem to grasp customer service, I really fear the damage the merger with O2 will do to the service there. Penny pinching over a bereavement is proof of a fundamentally mismanaged customer service.

  • unia_x
    unia (@unia_x) reported

@Stsantek @virginmedia Hartlepool, Swindon, Reading - 3 places where I know for a fact a VM connection has packet loss. They’re selling a broken service and are getting away with it.

  • DevilHatman
    Hatz (@DevilHatman) reported

@TheParty1sOver @virginmedia Yeah, wouldn't hold my breath... my issue has been ongoing since the 1st and still no fix in site

  • foxclaire1973
    Claire Fox (@foxclaire1973) reported

@virginmedia I have sent a few private messages. None of you have responded and I must be talking to a wall when I say that someone has USED my address to set up a account with you. I am a sky customer and Plusnet customer

  • citizen_first25
    citizen_first (@citizen_first25) reported

@virginmedia why have you got rid of Channel 150 that's TV does a price go down on my subscription ? As this is one of the channels, I watch every day very disappointed

  • stuzig
    Stewart Hunt (@stuzig) reported

@virginmedia why is my Internet and TV cutting out several times a day, every day? Was told it would be fixed and to call back if still having problems and now completely unable to get through to anyone. This is not acceptable service

  • MichelleBeckett
    Michelle Beckett (@MichelleBeckett) reported

@UglyGeezer @virginmedia I’m so sorry, Lee. That’s awful. Thinking of you

  • RobSFowler
    Rob Fowler (@RobSFowler) reported

@virginmedia this is disgraceful! Look into it and do better, much better. From a customer of yours that is currently considering his options!

  • foolforyouu
    K I Y A 🍉❤️ (@foolforyouu) reported

@virginmedia have a lot of people experienced wifi issues? Its the third time in the past few weeks where the wifi has gone or its really slow or shuts off then turns back on again

  • the_k_bizzle
    Stevie K (@the_k_bizzle) reported

@virginmedia Billing system apparently down but you've took a double payment from my bank card. If its reflected on my account fine, but customer service can't help as theyve got issues and online shows "Something went wrong"
