@virginmedia I have attempted to upgrade my package via phone at 9.30 this morning and was informed that the requested would be done “ within the hour “ Over four hours later I’m still waiting, tried to call back and gave up after 25 minutes on hold. Help !

@virginmedia I repeat. I have made my complaint through your website, the bit where it says “make a complaint”. Perhaps you could explain why I need to make the same complaint twice. I take no joy from discussing this on an open forum either, I want a response from someone who can help.

@jbjon @virginmedia Fix by 7pm or so the service status page says... I’m not counting my chickens, TBH. 4G tethering seems to be pretty swift for now.

@virginmedia The postcode check shows no issue but, when there are two engineers (I hope) outside fiddling in the junction box and my hardware test says there’s no signal coming in I imaging it’s probably ***** for now. Really not ideal...

@virginmedia Hey there! Thanks for replying. No I waited another 40 mins and then gave up - I rang this morning but of course I’ve had to go to work and they can’t help me unless at home lol. I was upgraded to 200mb but only ever get 40 (once 212!) :(

@gm8arv @2m0sql @M0VGA @SOTAbeams @TalkTalk @virginmedia The VM system I have here causes no problems from DC to 23cm (as high as I go currently) the only issue I had was when I tried using a mains data network from Argos and it destroyed 6m. Scrapped once identified.

@virginmedia I've been suffering from 20-40% packet loss on my broadband for 2 weeks now, I've called up the service team multiple times and I've been given a different date on which it will be fixed 28th,29th,31st and now the 4th I'd like some clarity with what's happening

@virginmedia Oh see, it’s up to me to chase you is it. I hadn’t realised that the delay in you contacting me was all my fault. I’ve logged my complaint (48 hours now) and still heard nothing back. Good to see Ofcom are on the ball.

@virginmedia I mean 5 hours on the phone and not being able to work from home for over a week meaning loss of earnings, and not having anyone I can speak to on the phone about my complaint are all HUGELY inconvenient. We’ll be cancelling contract ASAP and I won’t touch VM ever again.

@virginmedia Oh hear that everyone? It’s irrelevant because we only cut off those who want to cancel. Yeah and a different species of human answer phones for cancellations, it’s not in the purview of Virgin Media. Would a recent post complaining about being cut off re. moving satisfy you?

@virginmedia Have done this. Also just been on the phone. Was told there was an outage affecting not just Virginmedia customers. Not sure why there isn’t clear acknowledgment of the problem. You have our numbers. Our email addresses. Why can’t you just say something?
