Harry Aldridge (@HarryAldridge92) reported from Saint Ives, England@virginmedia Hi, I disabled 5ghz on the IP website because someone at ‘Ring Doorbell’ said it will only work on 2.4 but now none of my devices will connect to WiFi. I now can’t log back in to change it back to what it was. Is this something you can please help me with? Thanks

-
Mick Brown (@Lord_Drainlid) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@steveeejg It looks like to get a basic fibre service it might be around £25 and for higher speed from about £40 monthly. One test is will they charge to plug a home phone into a router and allow a landline no to be transferred? Virgin Media charges, putting the monthly rate up to about £55
-
Suki Sharples 🕷 (@sukishar) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@virginmedia Again no internet in CB1! Terrible service...

Martin Jones (@MHartleyJones) reported from Cambridgeshire, EnglandFor a while now, I’ve been dissatisfied with the performance of my elderly rented @virginmedia TIVO TV box. Tonight it ceased to function, so I phoned for a fix. I didn’t get a fix. Instead the operator tried to sell me a new one at extra cost. Not a happy bunny!
-
Martin Jones (@MHartleyJones) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@virginmedia claim on my ever-increasing monthly bill: “Looks like you’ve made some changes”. All I did was complain that their TV box wasn’t working. Still haven’t received the new one either. Customer service? Forget it.
-
Tom Bowran (@tombowran) reported from Willingham, Englandironic that the hold music on @virginmedia ‘s “help line” contains the lyrics “please don’t let me down”. The very reason i’m calling for the upteenth time. 100 hours since i was promised a manager calling back in 48hrs, and 48hrs since they said it would only be another 24 hours
-
Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England@camcanary @virginmedia Yes outage around 9.10-9.25 and another one between 9.35-9.45
-
cj hubbard (@ir_427) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@virginmedia We're on M100 fibre. Speed isn't the issue. The issue is that whole thing stops working for no clear reason; no warning lights, no issues on the service check website. It takes out all the devices at once. And it's been getting worse since the bill increase was announced.
-
Munty (@Liam_safe_hands) reported from Bar Hill, England@virginmedia Just took me to the service checker again
-
Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England@UKPowerNetworks short (7 minute) power outage experienced in CB245** @virginmedia service lost as well as @EE service too. I know the value of a UPS and while I recognise that residential broadband isn’t protected, I’m shocked that the EE mobile service was compromised.
-
CHRISTOPHER HORTON (@HORTONSpurs1975) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@virginmedia your service is a shambles can't speak to anyone.. can't pay my bill...
-
Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England@JohnJef51763960 @virginmedia My neighbour & I are now monitoring & recording the outages. There has been 4 today - all about 10 minutes each. We’re seeing the same problems at the same time so there must be a common fault. It needs @virginmedia to investigate their equipment...
-
alliorton (@alliorton) reported from Milton, England@jameslsaunders @virginmedia I switched a few months ago because they have terrible customer service and my broadband was infuriatingly flaky
-
Scott Westron (@ScottWestron) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@virginmedia After three attempts they’ve phoned back to say they’re the faults departments and can’t help. 😂
-
Tom Bowran (@tombowran) reported from Willingham, England@virginmedia i need you to call me. No internet is unacceptable when we’re all working from home. Making it impossible to find a phone number to also get help is also a joke.
-
Biggriffin (@Biggriffin4) reported from Huntingdon, England@virginmedia So my Broadband/phone is now £50. And a £3.50 price rise. But new customer can have it for £26.99... you robbing ungrateful bastids, existing customers obviously don't matter!! Time to look elsewhere.

-
Chris Rand (@ChrisRandWrites) reported from Huntingdon, England@virginmedia Nothing! I just wish you'd get rid of these magic support passwords nobody has. We just have to go through the charade on the phone of typing in random wrong codes until the system gives up. That's all. Thank you.

Tom-Stockton. No DMs without asking please. (@tomstocktontees) reported@virginmedia #virginmedia made a complaint to these clowns after having three weeks of a locked account. Their response was “login to your account” #fuckinguseless
-
Janey (@milnerj11) reported@virginmedia renewal time and I am dumbfounded by the increase! Apparently because I am not an O2 customer I won’t get the discounts I got. So being a Virgin customer since the 1990s doesn’t count then? Clearly not. What a way to retain existing customers #bye
-
Laura Vince (@lauravince1) reported@VirginMediaIE upgraded mobile as im a existing customer but have been sent a new number and sim card for the phone. Will my existing virgin media sim not work?

-
Owain (@OCP_84) reported@virginmedia @quidco @Top_CashBack ...which always inevitably routes the customer to cancellations after being offered an initial substandard rip off deal. You are treating your current members like dirt. You really have to review your retention initiatives, and put offers in place for EXISTING CUSTOMERS
-
ester83 (@Ester_Laura83) reported@Dominiho7 @virginmedia same, thought I'd be able to use the inpost locker down the road, we've 3 evri drop off shops in the village but min 25 min to a yodel one.
-
GarethYOURCXC (@GarethYOURCXC) reported@OCP_84 @virginmedia @tntsports That is just bonkers! Clearly "valuable" is being used in the wrong context. Their 'new' acquisition numbers are more important that long term customer loyalty/value.
