@virginmedia internet down in cb22 . system checker says nothing is wrong and fiancé is fast asleep (and knows all the passwords) so can’t get through to report the issue- usual 12.30 drop (5mins ish) happened and then it cut off completely at 4.20am

@virginmedia Fix time was by 15:00. Yea and now it’s 15:00 I have service. Convenient. This happens all to often. 5 plus hours of no service. Special after speaking with the customer service team about the so called service improvements. Where are these so called service improvements???

@steveeejg It looks like to get a basic fibre service it might be around £25 and for higher speed from about £40 monthly. One test is will they charge to plug a home phone into a router and allow a landline no to be transferred? Virgin Media charges, putting the monthly rate up to about £55

@virginmedia I told them repeatedly that I did not believe that a booster would work. Even when I would be required to pay for one. The speed at the hub as you can see in WiFi is poor so you tell me.

For a while now, I’ve been dissatisfied with the performance of my elderly rented @virginmedia TIVO TV box. Tonight it ceased to function, so I phoned for a fix. I didn’t get a fix. Instead the operator tried to sell me a new one at extra cost. Not a happy bunny!

@virginmedia claim on my ever-increasing monthly bill: “Looks like you’ve made some changes”. All I did was complain that their TV box wasn’t working. Still haven’t received the new one either. Customer service? Forget it.

@virginmedia Yes service checker said issues with broadband but it’s been both that and tv box. There’s a red light flashing around n tv box and three green lights on Wi-Fi box and status bar is orange

@virginmedia customer support is appalling. 43 mins so far - most on hold. Systems don't work, trying to get a plan priced is like a game of numberwang. Couldn't actually cancel netflix. No ability to do this stuff online..
