  • aptyson1960 Alan Tyson (@aptyson1960) reported from South Shore, England

@virginmedia very disappointed that being a customer for nearly 25 years doesn’t warrant any discount but being a new one did. Bye bye I’m off to @bt_uk

Hi @virginmedia I've been having TV issues for a few days today is really bad missing channels - error code W02, and intermittent pictures on others

  • docherty53 Andy 'life is short' Docherty (@docherty53) reported from South Shore, England

Morning @virginmedia I know it's not your fault but communication is impossible so I have turned to Twitter for help. Have you any idea when @YodelOnline will get their act together as we have been wasting days off waiting for important packages from you?

  • NowHearThis1 Steven Michael Macdonald (@NowHearThis1) reported from South Shore, England

@virginmedia @Mikeper81999705 This is what I'm tweeting about. It's no information that the internet is down, I know my internet is down. Customers for some odd reason, might want to know why??

  • franners82 frances whitehead (@franners82) reported from Garstang, England

@virginmedia can you help me verify my account - not receiving any emails…

  • mgsevs sevs66 (@mgsevs) reported from Kirkham, England

@MeNigeStew I'm with @virginmedia suffering for decent coverage in parts of the house & despite trying a pod (which has yet to work btw) wifi extenders (which fight with the main router) & 2 engineer visits I'm still suffering. Having full TV as well not sure how broadband price breaks down

  • NowHearThis1 Steven Michael Macdonald (@NowHearThis1) reported from South Shore, England

@Jack173_ @virginmedia The service has been truly awful for a week now Jack, you'll probably find it's nothing to do with your end. This is exactly what I'm talking about. If someone takes your road up, you get a notice. If Virgin fibre goes down or someone just pushes the wrong button, it's all meh

  • sean_wilson87 Sean Wilson (@sean_wilson87) reported from South Shore, England

Once again @virginmedia your internet connection drops as soon as we get bad weather. Lost count of the amount of times this has happened, and with the amount of money I pay you nothing happens to stop this happening again. Shocking service. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  • stevelthompsom Steve Thompson (@stevelthompsom) reported from Preston, England

@virginmedia new customer trying to register on your media app always comes up with an error code!!!! Not a great start......may cancel if this is how you roll ??

  • aptyson1960 Alan Tyson (@aptyson1960) reported from South Shore, England

@virginmedia I did and they couldn’t do anything. I’m very disappointed that not even going just broadband could reduce anywhere near new customers. My car insurance has to match new customer deals. You should do the same.

  • NowHearThis1 Steven Michael Macdonald (@NowHearThis1) reported from South Shore, England

@virginmedia Internet back up now. Don't have a problem with either maintenance or an unavoidable fault, I just wish you'd send out an SMS or something to inform customers of why, and for how long. Otherwise you get people just sat waiting and none the wiser.

  • llloydman lisa lloyd (@llloydman) reported from South Shore, England

@virginmedia Is there a problem ? No virgin media here

  • NowHearThis1 Steven Michael Macdonald (@NowHearThis1) reported from South Shore, England

@virginmedia Can your company please start putting out adequate information directly to your customers please, instead of assuming we should go looking for answers. Believe it or not people deal with the truth far better than these days would tell us. Why is the network failing?

  • TheRealRagtag Stephen Murtagh (@TheRealRagtag) reported from Penwortham, England

@virginmedia No email access for 3 days now on the blueyonder access. All I get is "Oops, this page is broken." System says nothing is wrong. Terrible. I have done a check, and it says everything is working correctly on BBand/Telly. ??? Area 01.

  • sean_wilson87 Sean Wilson (@sean_wilson87) reported from South Shore, England

Once again @virginmedia internet down as soon as we get rain in our area. I need to keep a tally chart with how many times this has happened. Complete and utter shambles

  • Baynesi83 bay (@Baynesi83) reported from Mellor, England

@NadineDorries @virginmedia @O2 Here she is again that glam Nan spouting bollocks that is instantly shot down by ordinary people who seem to actually know facts. She really needs to shut up or just read factual information instead of coming across as an incompetent muppet.

  • mgsevs sevs66 (@mgsevs) reported from Kirkham, England

@virginmedia Tried them all over 18 months. Short of moving the router, which imo will shift the issue from one room to another, there's not a lot else open to me according to your representatives. We work from home and my wife uses all her mobile data every month as a wifi hotspot

  • mgsevs sevs66 (@mgsevs) reported from Kirkham, England

@virginmedia This help page just walks me through what I've already done, it doesn't show me how to reset the pod

  • Libra_Comms Ali Gudgeon 💙 (@Libra_Comms) reported from Preston, England

@virginmedia have come home from work to find my internet is down and remains down. Are there any issues in PR2 9TT?

@virginmedia can you tell me if virgin is having issues in SW18 1QQ please

  • David47203456 David 🇬🇧 (@David47203456) reported

@O2 @virginmedia If you read the tweets it's very clear @virginmedia has a terrible customer service. Very worrying for O2 customers and the customer will lose out as usual. I expect the Communications Ombudsman will be swamped with complaints in the years to come. A bad day.

  • O2 O2 in the UK (@O2) reported

@lexburnett86 Hi Lex, everything remains the same for now, so a customer’s existing O2 and Virgin Media deals won’t change. But we’re looking at what we can offer joint customers in the future. Make sure you're opted into marketing, if you'd like to hear from us about any new offers.

  • snippetsofem em (@snippetsofem) reported

@virginmedia @O2 does this mean I'll finally have signal in my house? as my fiancé on o2 has signal, but I'm in virgin and can never get signal...

  • lexburnett86 Lex Burnett (@lexburnett86) reported

So when can I get a discount for being a @o2 mobile customer and a @virginmedia broadband customer , your services is great but neither of you are cheap?

  • EGreenhill1 Chimpy12321 (twitch) (@EGreenhill1) reported

@virginmedia They are always on a wired connection. This has been happening for 3 months. I have done everything asked of me in 3 months. Yet you continue to limit and cap my speeds at exactly 8pm every evening. Every ignored tweet & poor response has been logged.

  • s_onward Elizabeth Fisher 💚 (@s_onward) reported

@sarahmariex @O2 @virginmedia And there is no point Virgin Media resoinding to me on this, because I have them blocked, so won't see their messages. I will NEVER ever have anything to do with VM.

  • markhoward73 Mark Howard (@markhoward73) reported

@virginmedia Thanks, following my original call weeks ago I agreed a new 18 month contact with the same channels etc for £67 a month, however the contact I received was for a completely different amount. John said once I’d activated the service he’d confirm everything, I’m waiting to hear

  • HyggeJem Jo Kneale (@HyggeJem) reported

@vmbusiness @O2 Could you update your Twitter with a notice telling people what the issue is and whether there's a temporary solution? How long could this take? How bad could this get before you make it better?

  • howardprobinson howardprobinson (@howardprobinson) reported

@virginmedia can you tell me if you have any problems in the London E4 area today - we cannot get our Virgin TV working?
