@BTCare On the anniversary of this frustratingly maddening exchange, I should mention I canceled my account with #BT and switched to @EE —two mobile lines and broadband. Same network but MUCH better customer service, and that means a lot to consumers.

@bt_uk Hi my elderly parents have been without broadband for 48hours. They were told it was a problem with their hub; a new hub has arrived today but it’s not working. They were expecting a call between 4-5pm but nothing. Can you look into this please. They are in the EN10 area.

Shocking customer service from @bt_uk internet deactivated Monday because they got our moving day wrong despite being told numerous times it had moved. Can't reconnect until today 3 days later. Promised someone would call today. No call received yet they insist they did at 9:30

They were just asking my permission. No compensation. They were unwilling to offer free internet access in return. lol.

@DrLindaDykes @bt_uk Ours was 0.1… We now use a ‘rural broadband’ service where it gets sent from a mast to a small dish on our house. Works very well. Speeds of 20mbps, but no problems streaming etc as the connection is not used by lots of other properties. (Can get higher speed if we pay more)

@btbusinesscare We have already spent most of Friday and Saturday on the phone to your engineers, the most recent call has been the most useful but still not fixed! I fixed the router myself!! So much for 24/7 service apparently I had to wait until Monday for a call back from a senior engineer.
