@btsport cant believe that after 2 months of no sport. U offer a 2 month refund and only give 1 still taking this months money. The least the company could do is half everyones payment as you aren't providing a service. Please give me a number to call to cancel. URGENTLY

@bt_uk I notice my bill for Jan 2023 is estimated at the usual amount, which clearly doesn't take account of the 27 days of broadband outage. When will the much vaunted "automatic compensation" shown as a bill credit for ≈ £226.80?

  • TherionWare
Therion Ware #FBPPR #FBPE #Truss: series imbecile. (@TherionWare) reported from Stevenage District, England

@bt_uk My current bill for £55.99 does not appear to take account of the 27 days my broadband/digital voice service was out for. What happened to the alleged "automatic compensation"?

@btbusinesscare you are to blame for this as well! And over 90 minutes on the phone to your customer service and order management team feeling like I am banging my head against a brick wall hasn’t helped either!

@glenoglaza1 @btsport definitely have the worst commentators and summarisers. The commentator tonight regularly gets players wrong and tries to bluff his way out of it hoping nobody has noticed .....

  • Krisp06
    Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported

@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.
