@bt_uk I'm "We've Thought of Everything" package Fibre with Halo 3... While I was sat here, lightning has blown my Smart Hub, it's dead powerwise, & maybe the overhead wire into the house. It's 0700hrs Sunday & no help available, you haven't thought of this?

@BTCare On the anniversary of this frustratingly maddening exchange, I should mention I canceled my account with #BT and switched to @EE —two mobile lines and broadband. Same network but MUCH better customer service, and that means a lot to consumers.

@bt_uk @JohnStapletonTV It's one thing for dad who has a mobile too and doesn't rely so much on his landline, for example to be linked up to medical equipment/an alarm, to have it totally out of action months on end. My @seethelight_isp internet is down and because @bt_uk and @WeAreOpenreach workers are on strike over a below inflation pay rise I don't know when I'll get internet access at home. I sympathise, I really do, but so much is dependant on internet access and now none of it works.

@BrianDry @bt_uk Indeed. Mind you we are slap bang in the middle of Manchester and our mobile signal with @ThreeUK indoors is spasmodic (usually 1 bar 4G strength) yet I can get full strength 5G in the middle of the English Channel when on a ship !!
