James Goggin (@tasted_flight) reported from Northwich, England@bt_uk looks like you’re forcing this customer to cancel & go elsewhere. Can’t order new fibre/phone package as option wanted is apparently only available to “new” customers. At least we know your views on existing customers

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Asif Rana (@HounslowParking) reported@bt_uk I'd like to know why your business broadband so called service, can only compound its utter uselessness with skyscraper level brain numbing stupidity? I thought @vmbusiness was utterly indescribably ****, until you came along. You literally make them look like geniuses.
-
Ma$joe (@Twoostep22) reported@bt_uk you are truly the worst company for customer service.
-
Glo 🏴 🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧 (@Glo_Thienel) reported@bt_uk Hi. I have done that, cleared. Called the number which button to press, as it's all about products, not help with online account?
-
jack250213 (@e4290936) reported@bt_uk After some investigation I posit this as a reason for constant delays in my broadband applications. 'If your automated systems are secretly scanning my IP address without my consent and blocking my service because I use a secure dedicated IP, that is a fault in YOUR system, not mine. I provided my real, verifiable details. Ask me—don't secretly track me'
-
Graeme Davis (@GraemeDavis) reported@bt_uk Thanks for this @bt_uk - i did manage to speak to a BT *human being* and the problem is outside my home, BUT the process has triggered BT to book a fourth appointment to connect me to fibre. I’ve had three engineers who say it is impossible - Grade 2 listed house in a conservation area; cables would need multiple way leaves, no practical cable access to my house which is permitted by Grade 2, difficulty of routing inflexible cables once inside. I’ve accepted this, fibre cannot be installed to my home. How do I cancel the engineer and not rebook the engineer appointment which has been set up? There appears to be a lock on the system where it can only be rebooked even by BT; cancellation is absolutely impossible. Should I try a letter? Any phone process doesn’t work as operatives are not authorised to cancel but can only rebook.
-
Jac Dee 🇺🇦 (@Jacsplace3) reportedFinally, a customer service employee from @bt_uk is taking ownership of my complaint. Apologies offered by her. I have requested a timeline of everything to identify human error in ceasing the account. Agreed a plan to reinstate broadband & get a refund from @EE @BBCWatchdog
-
emze (@KerZE87) reported@bt_uk I already know there’s an issue as this was discussed on a community Facebook page. But it would’ve been nice to have been told by email or text that there was an issue.
-
Holly ®️ (@tctantan) reported from Exeter, EnglandAlmost a yr after i left...and im still getting emails and texts from @bt_uk telling me my bill is ready .. plus they never paid me the money they owed me #BT #EE make it stop
-
Ethan Keating (@TheParagram) reportedSo the cheapest to renew my @bt_uk contract is £57 a month but a new customer can get it for £38 a month? I've already phoned and they can't knock anything off the price... Switching to @EE is no cheaper either... make it make sense
-
francois clerc (@clercdesign) reported@bt_uk is so bad I can't even test the speed. Fibre!
