To confirm this theory I am going to go to my friends house and connect to their Wi-Fi. If I can access eBay on there Wi-Fi it is definitely a BT issue.

Staff member was very patronising and unhelpful especially considering we have been BT customers for 20 years.

Especially as all other websites & apps work fine. I run a part time business on eBay so I won’t tolerate this issue for too long before I change provider.
