Paul Rutherford (@Rutherford_Paul) reported from Darlington, England@bt_uk If eBay works on my laptop & iPhone on a non-BT wifi (I haven’t confirmed this yet) then it is definitely something with BT. Especially as all other websites & apps work fine. I run a part time business on eBay so I won’t tolerate this issue for too long before I change provider.

In a loop between 'Tech team in India' and constantly explaining the problem to UK call centres who 'can't contact the team'. Always tomorrow. Causing extreme personal & financial probs. In that case @libertyglobal your Wi-Fi and internet is terrible, spend less on fancy adverts and more on infrastructure and getting your product as advertised, we really shouldn't have to have mobile data on in our own house

Hoping you can help, we are due to have full fibre installed next week, the service is provided via the telegraph pole in the rear alley, is it possible for the engineer to run the cable over the roof and install the ont at the front of the house? To confirm this theory I am going to go to my friends house and connect to their Wi-Fi. If I can access eBay on there Wi-Fi it is definitely a BT issue.
