@bt_uk solution is to lie to @WeAreOpenreach to create a false reason for a visit (another 3 week delay for me) from an engineer. And hope he sorts out. They couldn't explain how because "I'm not an engineer"

@bt_uk has the worse customer service. Installed BT just before lockdown and had issues with the aerial, it took them about 2 months to send someone out. Had no TV or Internet for that period of time. advisors don't put correct notes on the account.

@BTCare My widowed vulnerable Nan is currently at home alone with no phone line since 10th Aug! Your automated email response was not good enough! Left with no resolve in sight. Your customer service level is disgraceful

@bt_uk unbelievable the problem according to BT is they already have a customer they are supplying at my address. Presumably providing him with false evidence he lives in my house. This is not a problem according to them.

@bt_uk Hi Aled. I’m using Apple Mail on Mac & iPhone. I’ve fixed it this morning. On iOS I had to put in the Outgoing server password again. macOS, putting in the password again didn’t help, kept failing ‘can’t connect to the account…’.

@bt_uk Wouldn’t mind but 95% of our estate (built 6-7 yrs ago) was upgraded. Everything around us even new builds get fibre. It’s like they ran out of money & forgot us for the upgrade. Husband needs a specialist line for work, can’t get it without fibre, it sucks & no plans for change.
