Ali (@aliceproctor_) reported from Brighouse, England@bt_uk are an actual JOKE. Meant to come today to install WiFi at our new address (that we’ve already gone without for almost a week in a house that barely gets signal or 4G) didn’t turn up because they ‘ran out of time’ and now aren’t coming til Friday
-
Dan ⚫️⚫️⚫️ (@danmahon60) reported from Bradford, England@bt_uk whats going on today loading everything seems so slow but the speed is there.
-
𝕊𝕥𝕖𝕡𝕙𝕖𝕟 𝕁𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕤𝕠𝕟 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇪🇺 (@TheLittleChef) reported from Slaithwaite, EnglandAnother potential Wi-Fi-less few days it seems. I’m not entirely sure @bt_uk’s fix of tying a tree branch away from the main box using blue nylon cord wrapped round a large rock has been a total success, you know.
-
Michael Collinson (@Mcollinson72) reported from Wakefield, EnglandThe @btsport app is absolutely crap. Extortionate monthly cost for something that’s so so poor
-
Bantam Pete (@BantamPete) reported from Wibsey, EnglandSomebody in the @btsport hierarchy needs to follow @Sky’s customer focused example of pausing customer subscriptions whilst there is no live sport to show! Expect a mass exodus inc me at the end of contracts unless you can show some compassion in these tough times! Sky ✅ BT ❌
-
Peter Thody (@PeterThody) reported from Leeds, England@bt_uk I got a message to say an engineer would get to it by Sept 3 latest. Nothing as yet though, still no service.
-
David (@D4vid_w) reported from Middlestown, England@ann_Errr @mattycougar @doomedparade @Kristofferr__ @DeanCoombes @mrjakehumphrey @btsport While ever there’s human involvement there’ll always be errors.
-
Mark (@RamblingSailor) reported from Leeds, England@bt_uk not sure why my FTTH with 130Mbps download isn’t capable of handing a iPlayer and a Teams call?! They use 5Mbps and 1.5Mbps respectively which is 5% of the down speed allegedly I should be receiving. I was also told that FTTH wasn’t load balanced or profiled.
-
Big Leigh Nicholson (@LeighNicholson) reported from Garforth, EnglandGet @SkyUK #skyglass they said … it’s brilliant they said. Yeah, until there’s an internet outage and you can’t use or access a single thing on your TV. My advice, don’t bother with it. Had nothing but problems. Room for a little one @bt_uk ? 😡

-

-
Sam (@samsamsamsam92) reported from Leeds, England@aliogg_77 @btsport The Saturday blackout was brought in 50 years ago and doesn’t show any benefit these days - in fact the EFL themselves have been campaigning to get it scrapped. On the FA cup point, little old Manchester United the live game tonight, sure the 900k in TV money will do them good.
-

I'd see what @btsport were offering before making any decisions over sky contract. I have no faith in Robert Elstone getting the contract.
-

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
David Jackson (@davidjjackson) reported@bt_uk He offered to put a complaint in, but admitted it wouldnt amount to much. So I said what is the point. Whilst I have had some rubbish service from staff, the problem is @bt_uk itself. How can you sell a service, wth new hardware that is not capable of delivering that service?
-
BudeBee (@_BudeBee) reported@bt_uk The person on 0330 1234 150 wouldn’t resolve the problem, cut me off while I was still speaking and rerouted me to a long queue for reporting issues.
-
nicolas mcmillan (@herbie963) reported@bt_uk I did that last Monday. 5 days of a complaint and still nothing . Everything seems sub contacted and nobody takes ownership.

-
Nikki (@Nikki_Lou1922) reported@bt_uk We didn’t receive a bill! Direct debit was set up yet you never took any payments just discounted my services and added a late payment fee! Your error not mine! Yes it’s only £7.50 but it’s £7.50 that shouldn’t have been added to the bill!
-
tha Movement Noize Production (@JumaMhlanga) reportedWho else is having issues with BT Broadband after moving? 😡 Been waiting 28+ days for service and just spent 2 hours on the phone with no resolution. Broken promises, poor communication, and still no connection. Completely unacceptable. @BT_UK #BroadbandFail #CustomerService
-
Restore Britain Moray (@theFMofficer) reported@bt_uk Hi BT. I'm eligible for BT Home Essentials, but I'm not a BT or EE customer. I need to apply online as I can't use the phone due to a disability. I can't find an online application for new customers. Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks. @Ofcom
-
nicolas mcmillan (@herbie963) reported@bt_uk People only resort to X when traditional methods of communication show themselves to be totally inadequate. All routes appear to lead to international call centers who do not understand the issues at hand.
-
Berni (@BikerBerni) reported@bt_uk Yet again BT email not working.
-
Dunc (@derbydunk) reported@bt_uk Hello. We got an email to say digital voice starts 20/7/26. It said we'd receive a code which we've never had and said an engineer would visit for switchover. Today we've received a new smart hub and phone. Is an engineer coming? Do we need a code? We're confused 🙃
