Go over your daily payment limit and, rather than say that, you get a indecipherable error message leaving you to imagine it’s an IT issue or worse. Why are established banks so bad at this stuff!?

Ivan Alexander (@ijaen) reported from Paddington, England@HSBC_UK Hi Abi. Will call tomorrow then but asking customers to roll back is not acceptable. The issue here is the bank, not the apple software. All other banks (Barclays, Bank of America, Revolut and Wise in my case) work perfectly fine.

A transaction has been declined but funds are not yet released - the vendor has told me they have declined so NFA their end. I have proof it’s been declined. Still no “call back within 24hrs” promised on Monday
