Right I have contacted @AskNationwide a couple of times as my credit card statement don’t look right and I have spoken to someone and neither do they. Can’t get through on the phone because they keep saying they can’t hear me. Is this anyway to treat a loyal customer. 😡😡

  • RichardPLingard Richard Lingard (@RichardPLingard) reported from City of London, England

@MarkMillarx889 @AskNationwide Hi Mark, I’m simply offering service fee. If it’s illegal I do invite someone to come and arrest me for trying to take care of my parents. It would stop the pain of having to do so. I feel like I’m the very first person on the planet to have parents with dementia.

  • Dibbssa Sandra Dibble (@Dibbssa) reported from Walthamstow, England

@AskNationwide not ideal that I can’t pay for something online this morning as you have a problem with verifying my payment on your system?

  • AgentGrizzle AgentGrizzle ™ © (@AgentGrizzle) reported from Enfield Lock, England

Banked with @AskNationwide many moons ago. Seen in the news that they’re struggling to process payments - THIS CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS. They were a calamity then & it seems like nothing has changed. Join a challenger bank - they value your custom and offer excellent customer service!

  • RichardPLingard Richard Lingard (@RichardPLingard) reported from Poplar, England

@AskNationwide If only that were true I wouldn’t of spent from the beginning of March until now trying to sort out my parents with dementia‘s problems in finance all perpetuated by you. it’s like I’m the very first person to ever have parents with dementia

  • MichaelLeHarvey Michael (@MichaelLeHarvey) reported from Stratford, England

Genuinely very impressed with @AskNationwide mortgage switching service. Took me 5 mins online to switch to a new deal, better interest rate, was able to change term of loan and didn’t have to pay a fee for switching to a new deal with 3 months left on old one. Bravo!

  • DmitriusOld Dmitri Old (@DmitriusOld) reported from London, England

@AskNationwide I have had a call with them this morning. Told me they can't do anything. So I have to go into customer service hell with both of you again. This is not right.

  • AgentGrizzle AgentGrizzle ™ © (@AgentGrizzle) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@GavinCorrigan @AskNationwide Something fishy here. They can’t put money in, but are happy for it to come out? 🤔 This close to Christmas…when people get paid early to help cover the extra costs

  • Dibbssa Sandra Dibble (@Dibbssa) reported from Walthamstow, England

@tomtomwilkins @AskNationwide Funny that they don’t believe their shareholders when they report an issue and follow it up with photographic evidence.

  • DmitriusOld Dmitri Old (@DmitriusOld) reported from London, England

Credit where it is due. Samantha at Natwest got it sorted and compensated me for the problems. Well done to her. @NatWest_Help should be grateful. @AskNationwide the ball is in your court to keep me as a customer.

  • Ingatestonian4 Ian Gate-Stone (@Ingatestonian4) reported from Brentwood, England

@AskNationwide Wouldn’t it be a good idea to update your website with the actual opening hours of branches? I’m not a customer but have travelled specially to your Brentwood branch to advise of the death of my mother, only to find the door locked at 2pm not 4.30 as stated. Great!

  • connorlol Connor (@connorlol) reported from Paddington, England

@AskNationwide Hi, my new card finally arrived but my card reader hasn’t. Is there a way for you to track it? I’ve been trying to move money for weeks - it’s been painfully slow. Thank you

  • AndrewS01250914 Andrew Scott (@AndrewS01250914) reported

@AskNationwide You know what absolutely infuriates me... Waiting 20 minutes to speak to someone, they cut you off (accidentally?) and don't call back. This should be the absolute minimum effort put into customer service. Especially when it relates to a switch. Not a good start.

  • LydiaParkhill Lydia Parkhill (@LydiaParkhill) reported

@AskNationwide We’ve tried that number before and were told because it’s UCB deeds department they can’t help.. we’ve also made 2 complaints neither of which have been responded too??

  • LauraHeeley7 Laura Heeley (@LauraHeeley7) reported

@MartinSLewis Nationwide aren’t paying me my new customer incentive as I ticked partial switch by mistake. However I’ve resolved & have fully switched, yet they’ve still not paid incentive. Any advice please I’ve emailed/ phoned so many times @AskNationwide

  • ZaraZibzo zara (@ZaraZibzo) reported

@AskNationwide can I get a card reader in branch? Mines broken and need to send a payment today

  • AnneAshworth Anne Ashworth (@AnneAshworth) reported

Stat of the day from @AskNationwide figures show the impact of rising #energy costs (based on April price cap). The most energy efficient homes (rated A-C) pay £1,700 a year. The least efficient (rated F-G) pay about £3,900. Our poorly insulated housing stock is a huge problem!
