  • Part_Mermaid
Jessica (@Part_Mermaid) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@Crippleywonk @O2 It was a bit of a wrench when I had to leave T-Mobile/EE. But they took our mast out and we don’t get signal at home now. I’ve had good experiences with most providers over the years. It’s not as scary as it may at first seem.

  • PcPresenter
PCPresenter (@PcPresenter) reported from Tonbridge, England

@o2 Why is your signal so sh1t around Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Paddock Wood areas? Everytime I call someone, they sound like a dalek. 30 years I've been with you, from BT Cellnet days, looks like I'll be joining EE soon.

  • PaulAndrews007
Paul Andrews (@PaulAndrews007) reported from Hawley, England

@O2 ordered a phone & contract for next day delivery. Waited in all day patiently for it to arrive, no dispatch mail. Rang customer services. Transferred all over the place. Not been sent. Not a great start.

  • chubbyjoeforza
Joe (@chubbyjoeforza) reported from Gravesend, England

@O2 your coverage in the Gravesend and northfleet area is getting worse . I’ve been a loyal customer for over 15 years and am seriously considering leaving. Can you maybe send a signal booster. This will not only help with my problems but also my customers while I’m at work.

  • cleggytaxi
clayton berry (@cleggytaxi) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

Today is a sad day, 10 years being with @O2 I’ve asked my puk code because they won’t admit they got problems with IPhone XR signal ie 4G it loses its signal and you have to restart your phone but switch 4G off and leave it on 3G it doesn’t do it!

Liam Foster (@LiamFos78239707) reported from Meopham, England

Appalling signal on @O2 for the last few weeks. Repeatedly dropping calls and can’t hear other person. If there are service problems communicated his to your customers so they are aware/understand.

  • MrGarySmith
Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England

Beware anyone thinking of joining @O2 they’ve just hiked up their rates and limited free data total usage when in Europe #ripoff also just merged with @virginmedia so expect the service to fall of a cliff when the call centres are rerouted to virgins Singapore call centres

  • chubbyjoeforza
Joe (@chubbyjoeforza) reported from Gravesend, England

Dear @O2 why in Northfleet where a good signal used to be found. Is it now complete toilet I’ve been a customer for many years but due to the terrible inconsistencies I may have to look to @EE or @VodafoneUK as they have far superior signal strength here. Is this going to improve

  • mishmashdiva
Michelle Millard (@mishmashdiva) reported from Snodland, England

@ninamillard @O2 Seriously warn everyone you know Ariel pretend to be @o2 to steal you and then @02 back them. They’ve basically told me tough shit! I agree go @EE

  • JonathanCGroves
𝕁𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕟 𝔾𝕣𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕤 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇪🇸🇪🇺 (@JonathanCGroves) reported from Kings Hill, England

@Freemason_UK @ThreeUKSupport @O2 I know, very rude. And considering it’s effectively globally broadcast, worrying the corporates haven’t taken action.

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE is that a government issue or the network provider lack of investment ?

  • BenjaminEHowe
    Ben (@BenjaminEHowe) reported

@AndyFurnival2 @TomTugendhat @O2 It was better when there were fewer mobile devices competing for the same signal.

  • AndyFurnival2
    Andy Furnival (@AndyFurnival2) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 EE are just as bad. All networks believe the utter bollocks they peddle that coverage is fantastic. It was better when it was 3G. If only there was a regulator that could put an end to theoretical coverage maps 🤔

  • CharlesNF_no2
    CharlesNF (@CharlesNF_no2) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE O2 was so bad in Southampton that I moved to EE, which is a fair bit better. O2's 5G was even worse than its 4G.

  • BeedleB
    Beedle The Bard (@BeedleB) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Just like me where I live, and ike here I bet you have no problem getting a text message through.

  • 1joharrington
    Jo Harrington (@1joharrington) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 UK 5G is dreadful. Third-party user testing from Opensignal and Ookla showed that the everyday user experience in the UK is among the worst in the developed world. 40% of the time your phone shows the "5G" icon in the UK, it is actually running on older 4G infrastructure.

  • NoVATonschools
    Lea Cat (@NoVATonschools) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 I was an 02 customer for about 15 years and just put up with worsening signal (zero at home) and price rises. Had enough this March and had to get PAC codes via phone call. Couldn’t even complete the call because the signal was so bad- 02 do not care. I’ll never go back to them.

  • GrumpyBiker1969
    Mr. Miyagi 🌴 (@GrumpyBiker1969) reported

@O2 ever since you merged with virgin media trying to pay on your web site / app is impossible Been a customer for over 20 yrs Your service is diabolical

  • BrawdyHawk
    BrawdyHawk (@BrawdyHawk) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Never mind, once the new uber Embassy at Royal Mint Court is up & running there will be many more Cells popping up & coming on stream to help with harvesting all the data whizzing around our Capital. Perhaps you'll be able to tether onto some of these, just be aware of spoofs!

  • paalston
    Peter Alston (@paalston) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Make it the law, ofcom, that if there’s no decent reception on your chosen provider then mobiles piggyback onto a service which is actually available whenever you are, akin to the 999 thing - your mobile provider pick up the cost. Arguably just one UK network would be better
