  • LwtEmmaBird
Sarah Harbour (@LwtEmmaBird) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@CitizenSuburbia @CharlotteCGill @O2 Some buildings do have poor reception though. Our house is bad, and we used to have to hang out of a window to get reception. We've recently set it up to use the house WiFi though (on Android) but might depend what handset you have whether it will let you do that.

@packlam73 @O2 @EE That's not how that works (speaking as an ex-network guy who worked on building the EE née T-Mobile / Orange 4G network.) Also, EE were the only bidder ;-)

@O2 insurance can **** off, I was honest but yet not good enough, should’ve been sneaky and lied and switched my phone of for a couple days and I would have got it sorted. Shows doesn’t it 🖕🏻🖕🏻 #WontRecommend

  • LwtEmmaBird
Sarah Harbour (@LwtEmmaBird) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@CitizenSuburbia @CharlotteCGill @O2 Well that's several different networks at fault for our house then 🙄. Also don't get reception in our local Sainsbury's but that has a metal roof - I doubt that's anything to do with the network.

  • pilgrimbeart
Pilgrim Beart (@pilgrimbeart) reported from Royston, England

Seems @O2 are preparing for 5G by making 4G unusable - several places like this with great signal (5 bars, 4G+) but zero bandwidth

  • MJPalmer84
MJ Palmer - Mr Gay England 2021 Finalist (@MJPalmer84) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

My @O2 catastrophe is going from bad to worse! Now my replacement phone just turns its self off! And you call up and the automatic woman’s just says ‘bye’ in the most sarcastic tone. Awful customer service: June 2019 since my phone worked

  • Chanel_LawSmith
Chanel Law-Smith 🐼 (@Chanel_LawSmith) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@O2 Seriously I have a ton of important calls to make today and this is the day your signal goes down!!! Not impressed

  • lornahamblin3
Lorna Hamblin (@lornahamblin3) reported from Royston, England

Nice tweet @O2 though please ensure my mother's number transfer issue is rectified and I will believe your sincerity...! Delivery late and phone number transfer not yet successful so not impressed so far..perhaps if you can take calls from relatives it would help vulnerable more.

  • GoMcMahon
#DocMartin (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England

@O2 is this your customer support number, 01558 333037 ? Or is it a scam/bogus caller?

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Nigeblueboi
    Nigel. Red. 🚴. Tories/Reform = Dreck (@Nigeblueboi) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE No wonder you're out with the washing posting crap like this. Your mobiles don't work or you can't operate them more like, so any resources allotted to cycling infra and pedestrian safety can gtf.

  • BeakerBate
    Mark “Beaker” Bate (@BeakerBate) reported

    @RobertClark87 @TomTugendhat @O2 Not just O2, they’ve never recovered from the Huawei removal…..Dorset is a disaster zone.

  • FelisMortRes
    HomoAntiquus (@FelisMortRes) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Maybe the companies set their network for official population data, and real population number is waaay higher?

  • DJTrademark_UK
    DJ Trademark (@DJTrademark_UK) reported

@O2 @TomTugendhat Signal is **** near enough across Norfolk ffs !

  • DavidHorneScot
    David Horne (@DavidHorneScot) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @vodafone Problem is that when you’re abroad you may be in higher density areas. I’ve been to plenty of rural areas in other countries where phone signal is patchy. And I’m happy with the £7 a month I pay for my service…

  • MitziStaff77788
    what the dickens? (@MitziStaff77788) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE We used to be able to work in France. Then your **** government took that away from us. So sit ******** down and shut ******** up. This **** is all your fault.

  • LewisOrmston
    Lewis Ormston (@LewisOrmston) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 Completely agree. It's been the same in Manchester City Centre for years. I wrote to my local MP, who raised it with the government - they've fitted signal boosters that have helped slightly, but no one should face this in a major city in 2026. Needs looking at nationally.

  • thomwatson
    Thom Watson (@thomwatson) reported

@O2 @RealToffeeCelt No you’re wrong in Selby I’ve had to buy an EE virtual sim to put alongside my O2 because there’s barely any data signal. As soon as my O2 contract is up I’m off chaps. Have been with you 15 years almost and it’s become so much worse.

  • ebamsky
    Skylier (@ebamsky) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 You're right. O2 should be the worst. I've used Three (more of coverage than quality problem) which was fair, I've recently ported to EE-based provider from O2.

  • Fr2962Free
    Free Speech Highway (@Fr2962Free) reported

    @TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Domestic roaming seems a strong solution
