@virginmedia Mmm. 2 days loss of service in a week. Not good. Maybe I'll speak to that nice chappie in Sheffield at PlusNet or maybe get BT Sports for free with BT Think you can do better tbh Voda do a cheap deal too...

  • DavidWildJnr David (@DavidWildJnr) reported from Whitworth, England

@Plusnet The BT service obligations (USO) states that my postcode is capable of 10Mb speeds and therefore is not eligible for upgrade. However you can only supply sub 5Mbs service. Can you explain the difference in the two scenarios.

  • micahscotttt mary queen of thots 🥦Ⓥ (@micahscotttt) reported from Manchester, England

Bit **** how I’ve been on the phone to plusnet around 6 times now regarding my broadband which isn’t working and after failing to phone me back like they promised yesterday they finally report it as a fault in the line which could take 3-5 days to be addressed.

  • MiguelGilbert24 Miguel Gilbert (@MiguelGilbert24) reported from Manchester, England

@Plusnet you are the worst I ever used. I just want things to come back to normal so I can change ... never use #plusnet it’s the worst. Slow... expensive ... and no response if you call

  • nebzy17 nebzy (@nebzy17) reported from Manchester, England

@Plusnet Stop arsing around with this crap and answer my message to @plusnethelp - Why you got staff on football polls???? 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

  • ChrisBr41449425 Chris. Bracken (@ChrisBr41449425) reported from Warrington, England

@plusnet @plusnethelp You've left my elderly, shielding parents without a phone line for 48hrs now, and nothing is being done. I sat for 45mins on hold this morning to call you, and couldn't get through. At this stressful time, this isn't good enough! Any chance of a solution?

  • tandleman Tandleman (@tandleman) reported from Middleton, England

Getting fed up with @Plusnet who I have been with forever nearly. Every time it rains I lose my internet for a couple of minutes. When I log a fault they say it is fine now or monitor it for 2 days and close the incident. Of course it hasn't rained. Help!

  • DavidWildJnr David (@DavidWildJnr) reported from Whitworth, England

@Plusnet I believe the minimum speed was added AFTER installation and after I contacted you. You have dropped my speed from the original 5Mb to around 1Mb as a response to each complaint I make. Perhaps the inferstructure should be investigated. Please forward me complaints email address.

  • Paul_crannee Paul (@Paul_crannee) reported from Hindley, England

@Plusnet I need to contact someone on behalf of an elderly family member whose router has stopped working, completely! No email and currently no live chat to help resolve. Please advise asap, thanks. DM me if necessary, thanks.

  • Siftah John Baxendale (@Siftah) reported from Manchester, England

@adechapmanlaw Problem is their phone line is crap, so PlusNet (who they were previously with) also would never get the phone line sorted and they were left with the same crappy speeds. Have signed them up with Sky fibre for less than they were paying for ADSL!

  • PrintCityMMU PrintCity: 3D, Innovate, Educate, Collaborate (@PrintCityMMU) reported from Stockport, England

@Plusnet In your booklet that arrives with the router, you advertise 7:30am to 10:00pm. I call you for two occasions that don’t answer for 30 minutes each. At 8pm, it tells me customer service is now closed. What terrible service. Your billing systems work great though

  • StoneTyres Stone Tyres (@StoneTyres) reported from St Helens, England

PHONE LINE DOWN Please bear with us. Our @Plusnet phone line has gone down. Divert will take at least an hour to be activated. Feel free to message us on here. Apologies, we are looking for a more reliable supplier as we speak.

  • jamesksowerby Sups Like a Sumerian. (@jamesksowerby) reported from Bolton, England

It has been a rubbish online week with the internet down for hours, with @Plusnet still charging, and my relying on my mobile signal more than usual

  • joniredchops Joniredchops (@joniredchops) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia Cancelled yesterday. Was happy at £25 a month. Looks like we're off to Vodafone or Plusnet for £22. Shame really, been a decent service.

  • nickhornbee Nicholas Hornby (@nickhornbee) reported from Manchester, England

@Plusnet hi my internet has been down since midday. Is there an outage?

  • LucyLoopy86 Lucy Willis (@LucyLoopy86) reported from Standish, England

@Plusnet what is going with the service tonight … I switched to you being told your better … but nope crap internet still 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

  • MiguelGilbert24 Miguel Gilbert (@MiguelGilbert24) reported from Manchester, England

@Plusnet I tried all you ask me to try... you are the worse network ever. You expensive you slow and you basic. On this lockdown you were terrible... but still can merge with @VodafoneUK that charge 7 pounds for a call they didn’t pick up ...

  • nebzy17 nebzy (@nebzy17) reported from Manchester, England

@Plusnet @IM_org Garbage. Your customer support is 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

  • RickyCarterna Ric (@RickyCarterna) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@plusnethelp broadband swap over due today, current provider has now disconnected, PlusNet service not initiated. Cannot reach your helpline to confirm switch over. Not a good first impression.

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Merlot1109 Merlot&Shiraz (@Merlot1109) reported

@KCOMhome appalling connection at HU17 all day, we have a smart wifi booster and that is of no help whatsoever. In our last home we had PlusNet and never had an issue in 10 years, KCOM aren’t performing well tbh, we rely on wifi more than ever as many work from home.

  • DavinaNanaDee Davina Martin (@DavinaNanaDee) reported

@OpenreachHelp Thank you. Plusnet don’t do a mini hub. I’ve had no service for over 2 days with suggested fix of next Tuesday and is an open reach hardware issue.

  • DavinaNanaDee Davina Martin (@DavinaNanaDee) reported

@OpenreachHelp No I reported it on Wednesday and have rung plusnet multiple times, been given lots of fix by times which haven’t happened and they are saying open reach have a hardware issue with part on order. I’m assuming at the exchange.

  • marianlouise Maz (@marianlouise) reported

Not too impressed with @Plusnet sending me a bill for January at a higher rate with zero reminders about contract coming to an end in last bill. First time I’ve been really disappointed in their service.

  • NKnajamkhan Najam khan (@NKnajamkhan) reported

@Plusnet @MsAndyPT Extremely disappointed the way customer service handles call. Put me on hold and then disconnected when I asked to connect me to a manager regarding the date of installation.

  • LouiseScott1377 Louise S🎩🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🐟🌹💙 (@LouiseScott1377) reported

@ShirtsofNeil I'm going on a nice dog walk to clear this hangover. Tbf it's not that bad considering lol. Plusnet come early and fix my broadband and I'll be a very happy girl

  • MSmithsonPB Mike Smithson (@MSmithsonPB) reported

My broadband provider @Plusnet tells me that my service won't be fixed until 6pm on Wednesday. This is rubbish and looks set to cause me and no doubt many other customers huge problems.

  • Donnasteward11 Donna steward (@Donnasteward11) reported

@Plusnet tried several times to get through via telephone but to no avail. I want to cancel my business broadband. I’ve cancelled my direct debit in the hope some one will get in touch.. still waiting!!!

  • Morphington Morph (@Morphington) reported

@jimblimey Why not Plusnet? Mobile is ok and cheap, no problems so far. Broadband was a disaster though, so bad we paid the 'penalty' just to get away from them.

  • GaryPhi18639802 Gary Phillips (@GaryPhi18639802) reported

@MoneySavingExp I think I've found a total con being pulled by BT and Plusnet. I am plus net customer but they can't re new my contract because my exchange is closing, I have 30 days to switch to another provider or I will be automatically put on BT broadband at £35 a month, I know I can get a
