@McgloneFiona @SkyHelpTeam This is exactly my point - your customers expect some sort of communication - if I was working from home today I would have been totally lost - Sky you need to do better in regards to communicating - we pay for the service so tell us when it’s likely to be up and running

Just had a look at the specs for #SkyGlass. Appears to have no hard drive, so no recording, just streaming and only 3 HDMI ports. That’s an instant “no” from me. Also no satellite socket (to use Freesat when I leave Sky or when the internet goes down). @SkyUK

@SkyHelpTeam Hi Sky, I understand why you want to keep engineers safe. Issue on Tues involved 2 in doorway to my flat from entrance hall (no air), shouting instructions, handing me cables, switches and pliers and mobile phone (4x) - that's not safe for me either!

@SkyHelpTeam Home visits no good for complex problems. More seriously: incomplete instructions, left leaving TV not working at all (prior to visit terrestrial TV fine, just not Sky, lied about problem, then changed story, lied that they had sent email with fault and signals (they didn't).

@SkyHelpTeam Hey, no - no issues are reported. The Wifi speed is comparable across devices, in different rooms too. I've also tried a powerline adapter via ethernet and that's worse. Could it be a faulty router?

Tonight I will lose broadband and landline (for deaf), my communications lifeline because @SkyUK and @WeAreOpenreach f**ked up an installation. @Ofcom Open reach should really hang their heads in shame Openreach are a bunch of incompetents who hold a monopoly
