Never used him correctly 1st time around for England though so can't see Southgate doing better. It's pretty easy, win ball, give to Scholes. Let him quarter back everything. From not educating the officials to using VAR effectively or sensibly to today saying theirs a delay in the post-split fixtures while they try to deal with @SkySports. Never known a more inept governing body.

Charged £50 for non-return of equipment that I have sent proof of return for three times. Assured the charge wouldn’t happen but did anyway! Poor girl in the call centre had no manager on duty at peak time for U.K. calls???
