    @SkyUK our broadband is dreadful at the moment. Using Speedchecker: On 26/04 our download speed was 1.67, on 04/05 our download was 1.64, slightly better today at 9.78, but our guaranteed minimum is 22. How do I cancel my contract as I’m only 6mo into an 18mo contract.

    In the queue to speak with one of @SkyHelpTeam experts since 12:36 waiting to cancel Sky TV package. If extending contract or upgrading package, it can all be done on line in a matter of seconds. However, no option to cancel on line. Really not good enough! 14:58 still in queue!

    @SkyHelpTeam I'm not sure why you refuse to indicate to affected customers what the problem actually is that requires a software fix without a timescale. I for one would like some transparency in number of boxes/customers involved. Is every third generation SKY Q box affected? Consumer laws?

    @virginmedia It was Virgin’s error and yet no acknowledgement besides “we can only apologize”. Ideally I’d like to just cancel my contract and go to @SkyHelpTeam but of course you’d NEVER do that? We’re at your mercy and it’s no way to treat people.
