Footballers to be asked to take pay cuts is utterly ridiculous, why do football clubs treat them so differently to normal employees of any business. Put money on it that they didn’t ask their other staff to take a cut! Furlough them like everyone else #bbcsport #skysports

@SkySports No red card Haverthwaite had eye on ball at all times and as he jumps his arm are up but burbs arm is underneath his so it can't go down. It was unfortunate but glad burns was able to play so well for rest of the game.

@B0bClark @SkySports We had an awful ref in Europe the other night mind but would at least stop the bias! It’s like these refs were brought up hating certain clubs or cities and they make the decisions subconsciously. PL would be awful with just British players - they need to widen scope for refs!
