    tbh I've been using #virginbroadband for 7 years and I've barely had any major issues in that time. not to white knight a ******* Branson company but just keeping perspective because holy shit i remember using BT, talktalk, sky etc and they are far worse

    @TalkTalk assistance with what? I've spent 90 mins from a mobile talking to a 'customer service advisor' in the Philippines sorting out a fault (your fault) on a landline.. it eventually got booked.. what do you want to assist me with?

    @TalkTalk Shame poor customer service got cut if re internet 3 weeks ago (open reach cut copper wire ) without telling us as couldn't put fibre into our house trying yo set up a new account been absolute hell and after spending 6 to 8 hrs done days trying to sort still not sorted

    @TalkTalk Update - after cancelling on the same day i sent original tweet to yourselves i received a text from installation engineer although i had assurances cancellation went through, called today got transferred 4 times before i could double check cancellation, atrocious service

    @SuperBenjiX @virginmedia I used to be really positive about TalkTalk like that. When we moved here our house had no phone line. BT wanted to charge us almost £200 to install one so we could get online, TalkTalk did it free so we could continue to stay connected! Service just went downhill after that!

    @TalkTalk @TalkTalk I contacted you this morning and you responded by getting me to log in and talk to a chat bot. Great support. I had an install date of fttp on 6th October. You forgot. You also forget to send me any equipment. Despite 6 contacts with you I’m still unable to Talk Talk!

    @TalkTalk I'm speaking to an agent already who's informed me that I have to essentially reorder my package, leaving me without internet for another week. This really isn't a good start since my line was only activated 3 days ago, so I've opted to cancel and will go with another provider.

    @TalkTalk It’s all sorted now but it’s very interesting to see we aren’t the only people being overcharged or having problems with trying to leave at the end of our contract or problems with customer service

    Definitely avoid getting the full fibre from @TalkTalk. Following a supposed installation at 4pm yesterday I still have not got any Internet the customer services are friendly but unable to resolve the issue yet
