    @virginmedia Thanks for the reply. On both occasions there's apparently been no issues, and none shown again this morning. It's more the fact that even though it happened twice in a week, and having waited on hold for 30min each time, I just get told to call back if it happens again.

    @virginmedia Yes I have contacted Virginmedia a couple of times. It looks like there is a problem in Nottingham NG16 area again. This is a common issue. Disconnections and lack of a quality service.

    @virginmedia terrible customer service, my box is overheating, has done for around 2 days, we have to switch the box of for 5-6 hours then it comes back on, according to customer services nothing can be done until it happens again, then they will look at it. What a shambles

    @virginmedia Thanks. I understand that. I also tweeted @VirginHelp who have yet to respond. I trust the ‘help’ actually means something and they aren’t also just a PR exercise. Incidentally VMs refusal to provide anything but (poor) offshore phone support is hardly ‘account specific’.
