  • srudd1992
Ruddy (@srudd1992) reported from Leyland, England

@mrandmrsblandy @virginmedia I had the exact same issue last week, eventually put a complaint online and still nobody has been in touch from @virginmedia

  • wightpie
Wightpie (@wightpie) reported from Blackburn, England

@virginmedia So why then a) does it specify postal and b) not provide a field for mobile number. At best it’s misleading and at worst incompetent

  • nevynxxx
nevynxxx (@nevynxxx) reported from Rawtenstall, England

@virginmedia I understand your call centres are suffering, but 2 hours for text chat support and a phone line that 4 menu levels deep hangs up is not good enough. Massively annoyed and time wasted.

  • NJWesthead
NJW (@NJWesthead) reported from Rawtenstall, England

@virginmedia Broadband/TV outage until 2:35pm but can’t register a loss of service as page doesn’t load. On 4G so problem is with you. Why advertise you’ll compensate if there’s no way to get it?!

  • Libra_Comms
Ali Gudgeon 💙 (@Libra_Comms) reported from Preston, England

@virginmedia have come home from work to find my internet is down and remains down. Are there any issues in PR2 9TT?

  • TazAliPreston
Taz Ali (@TazAliPreston) reported from Preston, England

@virginmedia can someone please message me. I have been struggling to get hold of someone to resolve a home telephone number. I have been promised call backs to resolve this long overdue complaint. But still waiting to speak to someone! #CustomerExperience

  • mooseandme1
Moose And Me (@mooseandme1) reported from Great Harwood, England

@virginmedia you’ve sent me an outrageous bill with £35 in charges that you said you were waiving. Non of your call centres are open (undertandably) I cant get text support & there’s no other help available. You are going to bill me £120 for a £50 service and I can stop you.

  • Hnc365
Howard Croston 🏁🇬🇧🇬🇬 (@Hnc365) reported from Preston, England

@EppsRacer @virginmedia Gave up with @virginmedia many moons ago with the internet constantly being down which was laughable as I'd been talked into an upgrade that would cure the issue. Gave up with the call centre and sent a letter basically saying stuff! your contract

  • Elle83
Michelle E (@Elle83) reported from Walton le Dale, England

@virginmedia why does my super hub 3 keep resetting my WiFi password. I’m having to change it through settings every other day because it keeps defaulting back to the security key, this is causing major issues

  • LeylandDavid
David Gardner (@LeylandDavid) reported from Leyland, England

@virginmedia No updated fix time, as it shows all services as green, and can't detect a problem. It asks us to phone you on 151 to do a little more "digging", but the phone line is DOWN. Oh, and the chatbot doesn't deal with landline issues apparently. Now what???

  • matt_stanny
Matthew Stansfield (@matt_stanny) reported from Burnley, England

@virginmedia It says not on there but when I call the support number there is a recorded message saying there is an issue and engineers are working on it.....been same all week.

  • dwb89
Danny Bolton (@dwb89) reported from Altham, England

Yet again @virginmedia having technical problem on the payment line what a joke this company has become 14 years with them think it’s time to change. And still no word on bill reduction after the down time last week

  • fos100
Richard Foster (@fos100) reported from New Longton, England

Who in their right mind schedules planned maintenance for a Monday morning and says it could go on until three pm? Oh yeah, @virginmedia - cracking service as always #workfromhome #muppets

  • LeylandDavid
David Gardner (@LeylandDavid) reported from Leyland, England

@virginmedia Reported the problem yesterday after your response. Should have been fixed by 10am today apparently, but still nothing.

  • fos100
Richard Foster (@fos100) reported from New Longton, England

@virginmedia It’s an ongoing issue and an engineer is due out on Thursday but today the internet decided it didn’t want to work on my laptop

  • Nicole_Baker
    Coley B (@Nicole_Baker) reported from Whittle-le-Woods, England

  • Nicole_Baker
    Coley B (@Nicole_Baker) reported from Whittle-le-Woods, England

@virginmedia am I to take your complete and utter silence as the refusal to resolve the outstanding complaint?!? the utter disregard you continuously display towards your customers is disgraceful. You should be ashamed. @MartinSLewis

  • geordiegal97
Amy 🌼 (@geordiegal97) reported from Preston, England

@virginmedia broadband is down. WiFi light is solid green whilst the bar is flashing green. Help!

  • stewiejohn2
    Danger Mouse 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@stewiejohn2) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia They should pay you automatic compensation thru the Ofcom scheme, it is about £6 a day. If they do not agree to pay it, then take them to an Ombudsman service.

  • SteveHilditch
    Steve Hilditch (@SteveHilditch) reported

Well done virginmedia. ‘Intermittent signal in your area’ during the penalty shoot out of the champions league final. Missed most of it. Not impressed.

  • siralexisared
    glazersout (@siralexisared) reported

@LucyProxxyfox @O2 @virginmedia Good luck with a complaint Lucy, mine is nearly 5 months old after O2 cancelled an iwatch contract incorrectly and stuck an arrangement to pay on my credit file, which stays for 6 years. About to go to the ombudsman

  • milesc2003
    Miles (@milesc2003) reported

  • thebeeb_23
    the_beeb_23 (@thebeeb_23) reported

@virginmedia Oh, I can think you should rest easy in bed knowing that this will never happen. I on the other hand have to spend every moment of every day telling people about what a bunch of front b0ttoms your organisation is and how 5hitty sticks should be deployed to keep away from you

  • samtilston
    Sam Tilston (@samtilston) reported

This isn't just a bad press cycle for Virgin Media O2. We are tracking a specific pattern of synthetic 'outage' reports designed to trigger algorithmic short-selling and erode public trust in UK telecoms infrastructure during a sensitive regulatory window.

  • MelG54321
    Mel54321 (@MelG54321) reported

@virginmedia services down in my whole area since Thursday night. Only got a message at 18.30 yesterday that they had an engineer on site. Child trying to revise for their GCSEs has no Internet access.

  • Alissa_SarahLou
    Alissa (@Alissa_SarahLou) reported

@virginmedia When are you going to issue a formal statement on the nationwide outage. Cm16 area been out since last Thursday, but for others I can see it's been a lot longer. Do right by your customers and issue a statement.

  • LivThms
    Liv 💚🫶🐅📚 (@LivThms) reported

@britfoodfinder @virginmedia They had a major crash last August...thats when my issue started. After that it wouldnt accept my password, asked for a passkey which I'd never even set up, but didnt provide an option to do so even an 'Ive forgotten my passkey...' etc.
