  • Beverley1886 Bev, just Bev….. (@Beverley1886) reported from Wishaw, Scotland

what on earth is going on with your service of both mobile and broadband! Substandard, constantly having connection issues with both!! Not only our household either, common issue with @virginmedia

  • AG_Developer Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

God damn it @virginmedia, another day another outage. This is becoming a really really sick joke. Just because most people sleep at night doesn't mean others like me don't have work to do

  • FrancescaDocher Francesca Docherty (@FrancescaDocher) reported from Overtown, Scotland

Keep seeing these adverts for @virginmedia for stream. I can't get a signal if I am more than 6 feet away from the router and the signal booster they sent out is useless won't be bothering with their new service as tge service I have now is rubbish

  • F_Dev1888 FD (@F_Dev1888) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

@virginmedia They said credit will be applied but can’t do it just now as the system is down. 🤔 @Ofcom

  • ryanjkirk92 Ryan Kirk (@ryanjkirk92) reported from Overtown, Scotland

@virginmedia Is there any issues in ML2 as my broadband has dropped off a few times in the last hour. Light on the hub is still solid white though.

  • AG_Developer Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

@virginmedia Is there any ETA on issue resolution?

  • DegsyScott Derek Scott (@DegsyScott) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland

@benjitindz @virginmedia To be fair, the speed is the best option and I’m on 250mbps whereas the best I’d get on ADSL is 10-34mbps. Agreed, customer service is worse than a RyanAir equivalent

  • JillScorer1 Jill Scorer (@JillScorer1) reported from Dalgety Bay, Scotland

@lornagilmour_ @virginmedia @SkyUK How to make a complaint via phone. Call us on 150 from your Virgin Media landline or Virgin Mobile. Or 0345 454 1111* from any other phone. WONDER IF THIS WOULD WORK?

  • marktaylor73 Mark Taylor (@marktaylor73) reported from Bathgate, Scotland

@virginmedia twice now appointment for line pull has been scheduled and twice now there’s been no engineer. Move of service to new house required , now being told 10th November, not acceptable.

  • dreamingisfree Laura Barbour (@dreamingisfree) reported from Bo’ness, Scotland

service agent who tells me an appointment is scheduled for the 15th November. Shall I laugh or scream? 7 weeks with no WiFi? @virginmedia (2)

  • pumphysaysNO Lord Galoot (@pumphysaysNO) reported from Broxburn, Scotland

@virginmedia i havent had tv for 5 days now, technician was meant to call yesterday or 8am this morning, no call, any chance of getting a service i pay for

  • dreamingisfree Laura Barbour (@dreamingisfree) reported from Bo’ness, Scotland

@virginmedia It is now almost four weeks since I have had broadband. The technician who came out 11 days ago assured me the “dig team” would be out in the next day or two. Having now spent approximately 738 hours trying to contact you, I have finally spoken to a customer (1)

  • DNSandilands David Sandilands (@DNSandilands) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

@virginmedia Yeah but then I realised you can't use a 192.168.1.x network with the hub either 🙃 so sadly into modem mode it goes.

  • AG_Developer Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

Come on @virginmedia, this is getting ridiculous now. Been without Internet for over 24hrs - ever since yesterday's maintenance at 9am. Still not got my Oomph unlimited data to help ease the pain either and no ETA on fix. This is beyond silly.

  • FrancescaDocher Francesca Docherty (@FrancescaDocher) reported from Overtown, Scotland

@virginmedia you are not very good at keeping your side of the contract but you expect regular FULL payment for INCOMPLETE SERVICE AND EQUIPMENT. Your customer service need more training on how to complete work orders and deliver the proper equipment.

  • AG_Developer Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

Sorry folks for the very sudden end of stream, @virginmedia is doing works in my area and that means until 2024, every 4th of the month my inet will go down. Today and 2 days ago where exceptions to prepare for the works. Sorry folks!

  • AG_Developer Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

@virginmedia Unfortunately no. I've spoken to multiple agents all day and an engineer is scheduled for tomorrow. If it isn't intermittent outage, it's a massive speed decrease (currently getting 50Mbps down/3Mbps up on a Gig1 line, usually 800Mbps down/55Mbps up)

  • lady_kat14 kat (@lady_kat14) reported from Blackburn, Scotland

@marieclarkg12 @virginmedia One of our friends had a real problem with them, they gave him the run around for weeks 😡

  • Spike61987764 Spike (@Spike61987764) reported from Harthill, Scotland

@virginmedia Not hard enough. 20 hours and 20 minutes without television and broadband which I pay dearly for and that's the best you can say. Time for compensation for no service and move away from @virginmedia to someone more reliable and actually cares a little about customer service

  • JudithBoyle3 Judith Boyle (@JudithBoyle3) reported from Livingston, Scotland

@virginmedia A better service from virgin media

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • mrspenceresq richard spencer (@mrspenceresq) reported

@virginmedia Nope. Which is part of the problem. You keep moving the dates and quite often seem to be unaware that there are huge issues across multiple postcodes.

  • WayneAssiratti WelshWayno (@WayneAssiratti) reported from Penarth, Wales

@virginmedia hi there. My son restarted our Hub 3 as I think he has a black spot in his room. Now our devices are "seeing" the router, but can't connect to it. Can you help please?

  • FoximusPrime81 Paul Fox (@FoximusPrime81) reported

The apps on Virgin Media's V6 box are dogshit. Beyond the terrible interface on them, the live match on Prime Video is a full 45 seconds behind the mobile and Xbox apps. I pay a small fortune to Virgin each month so I expect some basic quality control.

  • wardyt01206 Tom Ward (@wardyt01206) reported

@virginmedia Your customer service is non existent.

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported

@virginmedia @philstoke Don’t believe anything Virgin claims. Don’t get a contract. You won’t be able to leave and pay loads of money for a very unreliable service. You will not get any customer support

  • todger_rod Roger (@todger_rod) reported

@SimonLocke @virginmedia Since switching to Virgin a few months back, I’ve had more service issues than the previous 5 years I reckon!

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia I recommend to anyone never to consider taking out a Virgin Contract. Be careful to read other customers reviews. Once you sign up there is no way to leave again. You’ll be holding in the waiting queue until the end of your life.

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia @prtmunro Communication with bots? Automated systems? I tried all. My landline still not working. And no one got back to me. Your customer service policy comes close to fraud

  • DaveBonas Dave Bonas (@DaveBonas) reported

@virginmedia Someone has been looking into it but not been told if it's been sorted yet. Hoping will get some news in the morning. its not great service locking users mailboxes and then making them wait days to fix the issue.

  • emanzaman4 Eman Zaman (@emanzaman4) reported

Terrible experience dealing with Mitchell while trying to cancel my @virginmedia services just now. You really need to retrain your CS staff to not be so relentlessly pushy and listen to the customer when they tell you 100 times all they want to do is cancel
