@ShappiKhorsandi @virginmedia @virginmedia are absolutely useless when it comes to customer service. As others have said, the only way I ever got any help was by contacting the office of the chief exec. Better still, cancel and switch to an organisation who know what they are doing.

@Ofcom @virginmedia Low and behold I got a SMS stating they identified a network issue and it has now been resolved. Really wish @virginmedia trained thier call centre agents better. Back online thanks👍

@Turkey_Twizzler @EE @virginmedia I’m back with EE having previously left 3 years ago as the service was bad. O2 weren’t much better really. My advice, shop around loads, price comparison sites are good now for letting you find loads of deals for the phone you want, your budget etc

@alandavies1 @virginmedia That's an incredibly accurate description of my experience as well. Not only do they pass you from pillar to post, and know nothing about what each has told the customer, they also don't acknowledge anything UK customer center tells you. You're called a liar and no one helps.

@virginmedia Thanks. How can you check the services via the forum? If I do it, I assume it won't help if by account name? Diane is so fed up she just wants to leave VM, and isn't confident enough with the tech to start writing on the forum, but the phone help when she got through was useless

@virginmedia Yes and it showed that the connection is “fine”. However I have documented numerous occasions where there is no internet connection at all & it continues to cut out. An engineer said there are some issues and have changed the router, however we are still experiencing faults.

So after waiting for my reply to my complaint to @virginmedia I received a letter to tell me to "fix it yourself".. dont know whether to laugh or cry 🙈 that's it then, @SkyUK it is.
