Dane (@Forest_Dane) reported from Beeston, England@marc1box @leonagraham @virginmedia Those lights say it's the Internet. I'm lucky here, been with Virgin since it was diamond cable and NTL and only 128kb/s. Probably only had a few days down in all that time and one of this was a failed router. Not cheap though

You then had no knowledge of an engineer. Explained the fault and call centre refused to send an engineer or replacement box. How is a forum supposed to help?

Gordon Foster (@rainworthgord) reported from Rainworth, England@virginmedia @_MMaritima Not everyone understands about running a wired speed test, whatever that is. Why can you not just make an appointment with Lizzie for a home call so her problem can be sorted out on the spot? After all, free call out is one of your strong selling points. She doesn’t need hassle.
-
Bhavna 🙋🏽♀️ (@MissBeBop) reported from Eastwood, EnglandWhen @virginmedia wifi is working it’s bloody amazing, when you need to raise an issue with them it’s the most frustrating experience ever. Today I have had 2 people hang up mid call, 3 bots, 2 people on chat and still in the same place. No ******* wifi!!!!
-
Rob Parker (@roberto85) reported from Beeston, England@virginmedia it took my nearly 3 hours to cancel my contract after 7 years with you. Your customer service representative made up a fake outstanding bill from 2016 as an excuse not to help me. All sorted now but never going to be a #virginmediacustomer again.

-
Steve Hard (@PercivalPeabody) reported@Benleo In the end, I wasn't prepared to waste my time trying to get blood from a stone, so I called my bank to report it as fraud. Whether they put it down as fraud or not, I don't know, but they knew all about Virgin Media and did a chargeback for me.
-
John Parsons (@snipsy1) reported@RobRollin2 @virginmedia Yes 2026 and only guarantee speeds for a wired connection. Signal strength has got lower with new routers generating extra revenue whilst customers suffer and pay

-
Carrie (@IamCarrieagain) reported@virginmedia My issue is you turned off my working router. I'm disabled and you turned off my service.

Michael De La Broc (@MDeLaBroc1) reported@Benleo @virginmedia Last MARCH I went in store to enquire about a new, better priced broadband contract or to disconnect. I was going abroad for at the time, but wanted something better when I got back, I was sold on a new contract. Apparently my previous account should have been closed there and then. In September my service is cut off with no explanation, I do most of my work online so this is obviously bad, I got in contact, turns out my direct debit was still going to the supposedly cancelled account, not the current one, for the next three months I have a never ending series of chats on the phone or online chatbot to try and figure out what is going on. I can't log into virgin media online, because the credentials I used, take me to a placeholder screen, because the account is deleted or something, I don't know, no one can tell me. I go abroad in December, come back in January, same problem, the internet is disconnected for ''non payment'', all payments, are still, going to a an account that was supposed to be deleted or merged into my current one a year ago. every other month I am having to redo the same chat on their chatbot, followed by a customer complaints phonecall with some arrogant Indian who barely speaks English and doesn't understand what I am trying to tell him. And every month this goes on for, they are charging me a £7 late fee and even letter saying the price for the contract I am barely receiving service from is going up due to inflation. Truly is an absolute travesty this company, I am just going to cut the entire thing loose and go to StarLink the next time this happens, which I expect will be in two weeks going by the near monthly disconnects I am put through
