@JConcreteABH @virginmedia One of the reasons I dropped VM. Was paying for 200mb and only got 40 at best. Signal dropped so often but always told to reboot modem even after trying to. Got slower set up now but at least it works when I want it and not at their whim. Rant over.

@virginmedia I have attempted to upgrade my package via phone at 9.30 this morning and was informed that the requested would be done “ within the hour “ Over four hours later I’m still waiting, tried to call back and gave up after 25 minutes on hold. Help !

@virginmedia We've also never used the phone line or number, so not happy to pay for a service that we only ever had to facilitate Virgin services that we cancelled in July. Had just assumed keeping the number would make life easier! How wrong I was!

@virginmedia Yes - I opted for this option as I was told it was at no cost. At the time I didn't know which provider we were moving to (didn't know if we'd need the landline), and was never advised that I would incur costs for as long as the line was open. Very misleading.

@virginmedia Yes there are, again. Working from home and paying a considerable amount each month, the frequency of issues we have isn’t good enough. I now can’t work, and based on the 5.30pm fix I’ll be losing half a day of pay. As will others on my street!

@virginmedia Thank you, I’ve already tried all this, as I mentioned this has been happening over a longer period. I’ve got full signal on my iPhone 11 right now and it’s connected but cannot even run a speed test. It’s completely erratic. If I keep trying it will work, just not consistently.

@virginmedia Hi, for some reason my phone didn't show you responding to anything. Just had a Virgin engineer over (Stephen - amazing guy!) who managed to sort everything out. Turns out it was an isolated case to do with faulty network connection work in the green box outside in the street.
