Latest outage, problems and issue reports in North Baddesley and nearby locations:

  • Macsaint99 Mark Cook (@Macsaint99) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia @TimTastic38 Ok, so if we paid part of the bill as we had a loss of service for part of the day that would be fine too?????

  • SimDendy Sim Dendy (@SimDendy) reported from Romsey, England

Apologies if you can’t get hold of me - @virginmedia have ‘blacklisted’ my phone even though I am not a Virgin customer. After many hours/phone calls they are still unable to explain why & have said I need to write a letter (!) to escalate further 🤯 - any better ideas out there?

  • reyewon Ryan Stanikk 📸 (@reyewon) reported from Southampton, England

Was incredibly annoyed at service from @virginmedia today. After sending back the old equipment 6 weeks ago, we received an email saying we were going to be charged for not sending it back. I called up 10 days ago and was told the charge would be removed and not to worry...

  • CoachZen Andy Rowlands 💙 (@CoachZen) reported from Fareham, England

@virginmedia please explain why you send "we've fixed the phone problem in your area" text messages when you have not fixed it.

  • crumblechris chris (@crumblechris) reported from Winchester, England

@virginmedia Can you update the website to stop giving out false information? If you know there are ‘some issues’ can you tell me what they are - that alone is a helpful update….

  • andy_moo Andy Mooney (@andy_moo) reported from Locks Heath, England

@virginmedia It was supposed to be yesterday. Phoned customer services yesterday evening but didn't help, phoned again this morning and now finally activated

  • southnorthener SM (@southnorthener) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia No service is SO17 postcode, either TV or internet. Is there an issue?

  • JFeathjav James Featherstone (@JFeathjav) reported from Southampton, England

@davenevin @virginmedia Luckily their customer service is excellent 🥴

  • rahim94 Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England

At this rate, Virgin Media is gonna have to change their name because that's bound to offend some woke idiot somewhere 🙄 #BBCQT

  • SteveWasteney Steve (@SteveWasteney) reported from Netley, England

@virginmedia Customer service is still the poorest of all the media companies I see. Can't use live chat without it dropping out, can't phone because the menu system doesn't cover what you want to talk about. Do you even have an e mail address to contact. I have had enough!!!

  • MikeWalker2012 Mike Walker (@MikeWalker2012) reported from Fareham, England

@virginmedia Honestly, I tried contacting customer support & they didn't care, so I don't think there's anything further you can do, the functionality of 360 is hopeless, doesn't come anywhere near as good as the old TiVo box. I just need to dump the overpriced VM service as soon as possible.

  • crumblechris chris (@crumblechris) reported from Winchester, England

@virginmedia Hi - so the fault that is still ongoing, 24 hours+ now, and the fault line said would fixed by 11pm last night. Now the fault line says it’s being worked on - and no update for residents….please advise what is going on and an ETA for the fix? Thanks

  • formula1girl Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia I cancelled in July (which apparently you have no record of) so I contacted you in Sept when you threatened to cut my service off, that I wasn’t using anymore, and told you I’d cancelled. I’m not paying this!! Absolutely ridiculous!!

  • formula1girl Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Eastleigh, England

@virginmedia So I won’t have 4+ months of grief, demands for an account that is cancelled and debt collectors letters for that account then? That’s a relief as your behaviour with my account has worn me down whilst grieving for my Dad but it’s not stopped you….

  • crumblechris chris (@crumblechris) reported from Winchester, England

@virginmedia Thanks - but that phone line isn’t recognising when I enter digits on the key pad - so is useless.your website still says ‘no issues’ after more than 4 hours of no internet connection.

  • sarahmvaughan Cllr Sarah M Vaughan (@sarahmvaughan) reported from Southampton, England

2/2 @virginmedia @VirginMediaCorp @VMSolutions_ We have waited patiently for 48 hours for Virgin to fix. If you do not resolve today, we will get an electrician to repair and send Virgin the invoice. There is no customer service or H&S for your customers.

  • vetlocksmith Veteran Locksmiths (@vetlocksmith) reported from Fareham, England

@virginmedia Just to confirm the customer services on the phone said the issue was your end not the router. This shouldn’t take 24hrs to sort for such a large provider

  • rahim94 Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England

@NewWorldLoading @ODEONCinemas I pulled off the ultimate scam by using the O2 priority app which I now have access to as a customer of @virginmedia following their recent merger 😈 Free ticket at odeon every Monday

  • vetlocksmith Veteran Locksmiths (@vetlocksmith) reported from Fareham, England

@virginmedia your broadband connection is disgusting, we have called to be told that we need to wait 24 hrs to see if there is an issue. Not good enough this is now affecting my business for my staff !!

  • davidmatheredu David Mather (@davidmatheredu) reported from Whiteley, England

@virginmedia why do I have to wait for 23 hours to book an engineer when my broadband service is poor now?

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • neilcurriedj Neil (@neilcurriedj) reported

@virginmedia I thought the midnight connection issues were fixed? They have returned, first last Saturday, then last night now tonight too. So far it’s been 45 mins. Who do I need to speak to to get it fixed? It’s beyond a joke. #disappointed #angry #poorcustomerservice

  • JStuartRidyard J Stuart Ridyard (@JStuartRidyard) reported

@virginmedia In my last call I asked them to escalate the ticket. They checked with their managers who said they can't. Why would calling again change that? Why is it 2 months and 9 calls and I still can't login

  • hadirennie Hadi Rennie (@hadirennie) reported

@virginmedia No service yet which is annoying. Going to be a week without any service. I would expect VM does better than this. Then I keep getting texts that I will be charged £25 if an engineer comes and there is a service.

  • NnopuBigJude Nnopu BigJude (@NnopuBigJude) reported

@EE I have had sleepless night over my EE ASTRONOMIC bill after been told by my colleague that he pays 40 pounds for iPhone 13 with unlimited calls /data on virgin Media. I pay 100 pounds yet the service is nothing to talk home about

  • RioRomeoR RIO RR (@RioRomeoR) reported

    @Qeezyxo @virginmedia It’s actually the worst

  • kwanchen kwanchen (@kwanchen) reported

@virginmedia Calling your line and wait for 40 mins minimum? Got enough of this crap. Already got a SIM from someone else. Unbelievable that's the response from a service team. Surely will let you know we are not staying and you guys are horror to deal with.

  • hadirennie Hadi Rennie (@hadirennie) reported

@virginmedia That an engineer might need to come to sort it out because the agent didn't know why it was not working.

  • katie_mulv katie mulvihill (@katie_mulv) reported

@virginmedia absolutely shocking service, honestly do not use them!!!. Didn't show up for the 1st installation, was told I would have Internet yesterday...didn't happen. I now have no Internet as my previous providers contract has ended. Customer service "unable" to do (1/2)

  • TimAgar3 Tim Agar (@TimAgar3) reported

@virginmedia @GSpellchecker Common practice is not a justification for bad service.

  • Felim_Doyle Félim Doyle #M3HIM 🇮🇪🇪🇺🇬🇧 (@Felim_Doyle) reported

@UKTVPlayHelp I am a Virgin Media customer in the UK with a TV 360 box. I also have access to UKTV via the app. I have been away for the past few months dealing with a family health matter and I am wondering if I can now catch up on my missed programmes, in particular from Alibi.
