Paul Rutherford (@Rutherford_Paul) reported from Darlington, England@bt_uk If eBay works on my laptop & iPhone on a non-BT wifi (I haven’t confirmed this yet) then it is definitely something with BT. Especially as all other websites & apps work fine. I run a part time business on eBay so I won’t tolerate this issue for too long before I change provider.

Paul Haggie (@ha66ie) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England@bt_uk hi team. My partner has a work mobile connected to BT. However the mobile phone signal is very poor indoors for call quality. Paul Rutherford (@Rutherford_Paul) reported from Darlington, England@bt_uk How will clearing the cache on the laptop help my iPhone though? BT appear to be blocking the access. To confirm this theory I am going to go to my friends house and connect to their Wi-Fi. If I can access eBay on there Wi-Fi it is definitely a BT issue.
-
Marc Johnson (@marc3374) reported from Newton Aycliffe, England@bt_uk Very disappointed at the customer service received after a phone call my wife made regarding our current broadband contract. Staff member was very patronising and unhelpful especially considering we have been BT customers for 20 years.

David Mohan (@weameo) reported from Redcar, England@OpenreachHelp @bt_uk but they keep contacting you and are told 'it will be tomorrow', tomorrow never comes. Someone needs to inform me as the customer what is happening and when it will be provisioned. I am a brand new customer who is still not connected.

clinton smith (@charming_man_) reported from Middlesbrough, EnglandIt has nothing to do with current issues UK are going through but poor planning by @OpenreachHelp and false information by @bt_uk

Paul Rutherford (@Rutherford_Paul) reported from Darlington, England@bt_uk No its not a business account. I just run a part time casual business via eBay. It’s not my main job. Plus transferring me would just be passing the issue on to someone else. However please feel free to ask colleagues for suggestions on how to fix this situation.
-
Jason N Beck (@beck5ter) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England@bt_uk Not to worry, I knew it was a scam straight away, as I am not currently a @bt_uk customer but this will be changing shortly as @Virgin is like having no internet we all use 4g !!

Legendary Hamster (@LegendaryH80858) reported@ArmchairAdml @bt_uk would you like to comment on why you're treating a long standing, loyal customer as badly as this? I feel a review of his account is in order so he can be put on a new lower rate and some compensation is in order as you're ripping him off! @MartinSLewis FYI...

Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

redginger44 (@redginger44) reported@bt_uk I have raised a complaint and you already wish to close it I can’t access my account and realise I am paying more for BT sport I don’t have the time to make phone calls and clearly I am not valued as a long standing customer I left EE for same reason.

David Sinfield (@omotforest) reportedDear @bt_uk You do not have my consent to install anything on my property. If it is free, it cannot be for my benefit. It's for yours. If it's cheaper for you, you can give me a share of your savings. I had no choice over the digital voice downgrade. @openreach will have to trespass to install it. If it is a condition of receiving service, say so and I will seek alternatives. (@Starlink or 5g) Is it on the T&C's? A letter is on its way to your registered address. David Sinfield.
