Excited as I move into Day 5 of Wi-Fi failure and hope of engineers visit @bt_uk and @BTGroup As yet just silence. Not keen to pop down the shops. Guessing the repair work will take for my 5 day wait about 30mins. Productivity eh, who needs it. Why no local maintenance beyond me

Just been informed from BT call office 0800 111 4567, engineer appointment now is 5th Jan - fault registered Boxing Day. They also accused Twitter accounts @bt_uk and @BTGroup and @BTSopenreach as scammer accounts. Also say BT customer resolution doesn’t exist. Happy New Year.

@bt_uk Without doubt, the worst customer service ever. You disconnect my broadband & phone for no reason. I have now spent over 2 hrs on the speaking to 5 ’advisors’ asking for an explanation and to be reconnected, then the call fails and nobody calls back and still no service 😡

  • killawat

  • PaulWhelanTweet
Paul Whelan (@PaulWhelanTweet) reported from Aston Clinton, England

@btbusinesscare Sadly, the chat agent couldn’t help either. Simple question, no-one can give me an answer. I’ll try the Billing team again later. Spoke to them yesterday, and got three different answers. Unbelievable.

  • NeilGenders1

@flanman100 @bt_uk @Ofcom Dad wanted same a few months ago. Was without WiFi for 8 weeks after engineer visit. Found a problem and had to come back at a later date. Turns out the first engineer had cut a wire and hadn’t realised. Took many visits and no shows. A shower or &hite is how I would describe BT

Horrible customers service on @bt_uk. It's the 3rd in 3 weeks to have to contact them for a return bag of their silly router - and every time I get promised it has been sent... pathetic support almost as bad as their speeds - glad to pay that cancellation policy to get rid of BT

@bt_uk Thanks. Its not showing as an issue on the BT checker and the text check wont work as I am with Vodafone for my home broadband. They told me open reach is working on the cables in my area and it can take 24 hours which is just not acceptable on a Monday during working hours.
