@bt_uk thanks but a 92 year old on her own with no other close family and the phone being her only contact should be. Luckily enough it has started working again after 2 days (which was odd as you said there was no local fault) so now trying to get through to cancel the engineer

So while everyone is complaining they can't watch Netflix etc... my elderly mum and others in the street are without phones as they don't use mobiles. This is why no-one should depend on the Internet and the fancy technology. Landlines never fail @virginmedia @BTCare

Since 22 April. 9 orders pending! 9 orders cancelled! 3 emails & letters telling us we have stopped our service! 4 hours waiting for complaints to call us! Emails ignored.
