@bt_uk I’m not sure yet, it’ll be fine one minute and then suddenly start going off every 5 minutes for about 12 hours. Terrible

  • Stuart_H21 Stuart Millard (@Stuart_H21) reported from West Bromwich, England

@bt_uk I've got it reported now and have a Halo on order for delivery tomorrow. Just putting up with a shared 4G MiFi for today. Very slow compared with my usual FTTC connection though. How do people cope with such limited speeds nowadays?

  • debbieward2000 Debbie Ward 🌍 (@debbieward2000) reported from Albrighton, England

@bt_uk Thanks Mat, I’d rather email that info pls. Also I’m no longer an account holder which I think might be part of the issue why I didn’t receive a returns pack last time. Thanks.

  • HalloweenBaeb KSG (@HalloweenBaeb) reported from Redditch, England

Never get @bt_uk for internet. Customer service is appalling and the internet is non existent. They don’t help at all. Pricks.

  • bonesjones Mr Vienna (@bonesjones) reported from Dudley, England

@PShifter45 @btsport Tbf I may be being a bit harsh, he's not too bad when he's describing the game. It's when he tries to add 'colour' that it all exits stage left.

  • bilbody Scott Billing (@bilbody) reported from Birmingham, England

@bt_uk tried to buy BT sport monthly pass and the page just keeps endlessly loading. Tried by phone too and they told me they can’t do it. Can anyone help?

@bt_uk Hello. There was an internet outage at my 85 year old father’s house from Saturday to yesterday. It seems to have been resolved now. He has been confused by someone selling him a TV box & a Hybrid connect device which I don’t think he needs.

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • FionaMacBain Fiona MacBain (@FionaMacBain) reported

Both @bt_uk and @tulloch_homes giving directly contradictory stories. Spent ages on phone to both. No resolution. Site manager didn’t return calls. Appalling customer service, very disappointing.

  • BigSteinDog GR1 (@BigSteinDog) reported

@bt_uk since changing from regular Wi-Fi to business fibre optic my signal is absolutely horrendous on the Xbox - any way of signal boosters or anything to make it better or am I going to need to revert back to normal Wi-Fi?

  • FionaMacBain Fiona MacBain (@FionaMacBain) reported

@tulloch_homes @bt_uk Thank you, he was in touch this morning and gave me access to the house where the wifi is ready to use. The fault seems to be terrible communication between Outreach and @bt_uk who have cancelled my wifi order.

  • HomeInDouai Melon Husk. (@HomeInDouai) reported

@FionaMacBain @bt_uk @tulloch_homes I hope you get this sorted soon Fiona, this sounds like like truly awful customer service/interaction from both companies.

  • CoolPasty Adam Baker (@CoolPasty) reported

@bt_uk moving your speed test to app only is ridiculous. I am a pc user mainly and want to test my connection on pc. Your advice also used to say use a wired connection as it eliminates potential problems with wifi. I don’t get your logic.

  • stepehnm stephen macauley (@stepehnm) reported

@bt_uk The fault is it’s I have an orange light on my hub they said there was a power outage in my area

  • aicodingharis NP Haris (@aicodingharis) reported

@bt_uk Can you please ask your customer support head to call BT Business support and book a socket shift as a customer? I feel that mostly he will resign by himself.

  • cloudyoshimoto CloudYoshimoto (@cloudyoshimoto) reported

@virginmedia as gamer, your network is the worst! High latency crap. My entire home is wired, only me using your 1Gb fibre **** and another night of disappointment. I am going to @bt_uk which is better reviewed based on customers experience. Given up after 1 year of crap excuses.

  • leahdedonk (@leahdedonk) reported

Your site has been down for 2 weeks @btsport

  • w123ckc Chris Chatfield (@w123ckc) reported

@bt_uk Be very careful when you join BT. My mothers broadband was upgraded recently as the cameras and alarms in her house needed more bandwidth. She is 93 with Alzheimer’s. We specifically said we didn’t want “Digital Voice” as her carecall emergency service won’t work with it
