@bt_uk imagine BT promising a call back after the disaster yesterday. First agent failed to sort account out and lied. Second agent put the phone down on me and the third agent promised me a call at 10:30am. No call.

  • zcherrybaby Zoe Harrison (@zcherrybaby) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk we are having severe connection issues this morning is there an issue in the DE22 region we have of course done all the usual checks!

  • andytoon30 andrew anthoney 🍋 (@andytoon30) reported from Mansfield Woodhouse, England

@btsport is there an option to mute the biased commentary team? Don’t mind the crowd noise but the commentators are shocking! #nufc. However we have been terrible too, everything we worked hard on for nothing

  • craftyandcute Joanna (@craftyandcute) reported from Derbyshire, England

Appalled that @bt_uk are so uncaring in the event of a death in the family. Closing down an email account that I need to access to help sort my darling dad’s many other accounts is so unhelpful and causing me undue distress at the worst possible time. Will never use them again.

  • MartinK1ng Martin King (@MartinK1ng) reported from Derbyshire, England

I don’t understand how @bt_uk can keep customers on hold for over 2 hours. (Still on hold!) be passed off by 3 different team members. No ownership at all and when I believed it was being owned it was a sales pitch when my complaint wasn’t resolved. Shocking service

  • CraigHammerton Craig Hammerton (@CraigHammerton) reported from South Normanton, England

@bt_uk shocking service BT been trying to resolve an ongoing WiFi issue (3 years now).... only to be cut off after another 1.5 hours on the phone

  • zf0745johnnyh OfficeTeam John (@zf0745johnnyh) reported from Kimberley, England

Anyone else cancelled their @btsport account and had the service switched off ASAP and still charged for the 30 day notice period? Suggest you check, got a few quid back as a gesture of goodwill!

  • shelbybol b (@shelbybol) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk Hi, I’d like to cancel an installation engineer visit as the broadband is already up and running due to there already being a phone line - i’ve tried contacting by phone but lines are all busy. Thanks in advance!

  • steph_woodward1 Stephanie Woodward (@steph_woodward1) reported from Hucknall under Huthwaite, England

  • andy_morgan1956 Andy Morgan (@andy_morgan1956) reported from Somercotes, England

@bt_uk Look😠 I've got a good deal and will stick with it. What I don't want is offering something that is twice what I pay now! We the customer aren't stupid.

  • jfagej Jason Fage (@jfagej) reported from Chesterfield, England

@ProducerScott It’s a @btsport issue they had the same issues last week #villageservice

  • JohnBarcock Call the Martini Police (@JohnBarcock) reported from Barlborough, England

Typical @bt_uk service, put 30 days notice to leave in a few days ago and now my fibre is suddenly 1/3 of the speed it should be. I’m still paying for this you know! 50mb below my ‘stay fast’ guarantee too

  • JPSimpson88 John Simpson (@JPSimpson88) reported from Worksop, England

@kkkhan22 @craigr98_2016 @UswitchUK @bt_uk Possibly the location if the router, if it's near electronic items such as a TV, in a room with too many walls etc it can slow the internet down in other places of the home. Every WiFi has a 'not-spot' such as back of the house upstairs or even in the converted loft spaces.

  • simon_ferrar Simon Ferrar (@simon_ferrar) reported from Derbyshire, England

so by email is down and has been for at least 45 minutes - nothing on BT twitter or website. Lots of people asking the same question. Any response @bt_uk

  • chrish11072 chris holmes (@chrish11072) reported from Matlock, England

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • charliefyfield Charlie (@charliefyfield) reported

@bt_uk paying £40 a month for your ****** service. Trying to watch the football on ITV and and for no reason what so ever we lose signal. Had nothing but problems. **** service

  • kcampbell94 K C 🍀 (@kcampbell94) reported

BT and Openreach are a joke btw, 2 months without broadband and now another 5 days without it it for them to sort their mistake (which I had to tell them what the issue was as they were clueless) and still having to pay my bills for these 2 month @bt_uk @OpenreachHelp

  • Up4thechalleng2 Up4thechallenge - Mental Health Streamer (@Up4thechalleng2) reported

@bt_uk It is a constant 4.8 mbps upload which is some of the lowest in the country. I'm more than capable of running said test myself the issue is your infrastructure. I am leaving the network due to the atrocious upload which falls below a lowest level stream standard!

  • marcusmark2019 marcus (@marcusmark2019) reported

@bt_uk iv just ordered a bt mobile device ..paid £100 deposit all went through fine... now iv checked my order on my bt.. and being told iv gotta show photo id... iv not got a passport or driving licence... WTF

  • benn_laverick Benn Laverick (@benn_laverick) reported

@GaryLineker I heard u say you were leaving @btsport ti travel for a year, are you going to trust tyre house to one of these delightful, hardworking families to look after then I take it!? You're a virtue signalling moron! U had a hand picked, token refugee, try seeing the damage in my town

  • acalderw23 Andrew Calderwood (@acalderw23) reported

@bt_uk got my date to leave my BT broadband etc contract to another provider. Yes, I have 11 months to go, but the quality of service is appallingly bad ( continual failures), customer service treat you poorly but .... your still going to hit me with a huge penalty to leave!!!

  • Wightsmuggler Simon Dabell (@Wightsmuggler) reported

@bt_uk could u help me? My friend has BT Halo1 but her 5 year old router is now playing up. Every few days the WiFi drops from an expected 65mbs to around 10mbs. This is corrected by unplugging and restarting. This is a fault on the router.

  • drmatthewhardy Matthew Hardy (@drmatthewhardy) reported

@bt_uk Thank you, I thought so. The only problem with blocking calls like this is that my BT block list is already full. We get scam calls several times a day and I can't block any more. Why do you limit the number customers can block?

  • Up4thechalleng2 Up4thechallenge - Mental Health Streamer (@Up4thechalleng2) reported

@bt_uk Instead of giving standard responses to tweets calling out your inefficiencies it may be worth reading them. Your outdated infrastructure across your network is the problem not a 'line issue' which will elicit a sales person giving a "have you tried a new DSL filter?" response.

  • montreuilloic Loïc Montreuil (@montreuilloic) reported

@bt_uk We already called 4 times! That is wrong, not okay, worst service ever. It’s 2021, everyone is working from home how could think it is okay for people to be over two months without internet?! @bt_uk You need to find a solution 😡😡😡
