Andrew Donnelly (@donners32) reported from Glasgow, Scotland10 years a customer of @virginmedia and they just tell you that if you want to reduce your bill to a reasonable amount you can’t and their first offer is to disconnect you... which takes 30 days. Looking forward to something new with @SkyUK or @bt_uk now. #Shambles
-
c74NcK (@AgentZara) reported from Viewpark, Scotland@bt_uk trying to speak to someone regarding a broadband issue is nigh on impossible. I'm not interested in stupid text messages that incur a charge on my mobile. How do I speak to someone? Pathetic service this.
-
JD (@JDgawa1) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@bt_uk No but it appears to be a common theme. Its on your end....told you guys already I'm just going to cancel my subscription and get IPTV like rest of the country as im no longer getting the reliability im paying for.

christopher (@sheeper88) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@bt_uk I always access my emails through the Gmail app, and login to my account online. Will see if it sorts itself throughout the day.
-
Nick Carroll (@Chunk_the_Hat) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@Cal_SFC The problem isn't VAR it's the rules that they are enforcing. Great point made by @rioferdy5 on @btsport last night. That defenders will now be told to take the man out. Have you considered thinking rather than letting your inner child tweet?
-
James Marshall (@jmgrahit26) reported from Dennistoun, Scotland@bt_uk When I use my EE mobile signal, the problem disappears. I tried calling 0800 800 150, but I get sent text messages that won't allow me to speak to an advisor
-
Andy McNeill (@Macca87) reported from Thornliebank, Scotland@bt_uk My Hub is blue but nothing is connecting. Have already restarted a couple of times. Is there a Glasgow issue?
-
pole vaulting taliped (@willmill82) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@MaitlandBen @bt_uk @OpenreachHelp Genuine question: Considering that BT own EE, could they not offer a 4G/5G router that connects via the mobile networks as a backup option for when the landline network goes down? I think that's what Vodafone offer on their broadband.
-
Karim Belgacem (@k_belgacem82) reported from Hamilton, Scotland@bt_uk ‘upgraded’ my WiFi with you last week (after you called me) and it’s never been slower!
-
TRM (@TahirRMalik) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@btbusinesscare @bt_uk 3 weeks and still waiting. How crap @bt_uk can get?
-

-
Fred Parry (@fredparry3) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@bt_uk No idea what the speed is but I do know when it gets so slow you can’t load anything and revert to 4g on my mobile. The hub lights do sometimes cut out but more often it tells me I’m connected and then the loooong wait!
-

-
Kyle🤙🏻 (@KyleMitchell97) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@bt_uk was horrendous. The resolutions to my complaint offered by manager on the phone were frankly insulting. The only reason I had the complaint closed was due to being so frustrated with my experience that I couldn’t continue- manager also refused to allow me to speak to (c.)
-
Hugh Toner (@scoobyhugh8) reported from Lanarkshire, Scotland@bt_uk trying to login to my account and it’s saying I don’t have one, tried recovering my account through my phone number and it’s saying nothing

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
duncan (@mongrelcelt) reported@TupperwareNFT @bt_uk Problem is both sides claim innocence. But onus is on BT to prove they made the request (community fibre can't prove an absence of something). It'll take an ombudsman to demand evidence from BT, so they've forced my hand. So pathetic for a massive corp to hide behind call centre
-
Cribby Youngs (@CribbyYoungs) reported@bt_uk Would it be courteous to advise a customer & resident of planned work installation outside of home......? No letters or planning leaflet in area..
-
The Emperor Son (@TheEmperorSon) reportedHay @EE and @bt_uk, next time you have a broadband outage can you text me that there's a problem in the area to my mobile phone about the issue? I thought there was a problem with my hub, so performed a reset and unknowingly lost all my contacts. I assumed that the numbers where stored in the handset. My fault for not reading the instructions - but because I didn't know about the broadband outage, I thought the fault was the equipment. Have now added my contacts back to the phone, which are stored in the hub.
-
andy carson (@andy_carson101) reported@eventhestarsuk @bt_uk sign up as new customer with the missus or someone else in house.... btw for around same price we get virgin with sport movies telly top speed internet & netflix
-
suewheeler (@brightonline) reported@shenry1972 @bt_uk That’s not good service and very worrying
-
Sparky (@oftheVotadini) reported@bt_uk @tringgooner I hate corporate replies like this. Instead of taking ownership of the problem, they palm you off to another department who will fob you off with a desultory offer
-
(((Ian McKenzie))) 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇫🇷🇺🇦🇮🇱🇬🇪🇬🇱 (@iMcKenzied) reported@bt_uk I’ve already been told there is nothing that can be done. @bt_uk are going to take double payments for the same line for 7 months and have made clear that after 48 years do not want me as a customer when I do find somewhere to live. Seems unnecessary to me.
-
MatCo (@btcmateus) reported@bt_uk @danprofit21 Internet is down again! CR8 2JA
-
Lou Skunt (@Bubbler_Ranx) reported@bt_uk just got a text that my phone bill is ready but I still can’t log into my account without giving my phone number. We’re getting to the point where I cancel the direct debit. I’m not DMing and I’m not taking time out of my day to call. Why do I need to supply a number?
-
wynne carter 🔶#FBPE🇺🇦 (@gvs368) reported@bt_uk I've now raised a formal complaint with BT. I have the emails and now a screenshot of an Openreach build status map for the Newport on Tay exchange showing we don't have plans to build any further in this area.!
