-
Richard Bond (@Ric_Bond) reported from Manchester, EnglandClearly the continuing high winds up here is adding to the risk, and if the cable snaps I imagine it creates a very real safety issue for pedestrians - plus of course my service is being disrupted all the while @bt_uk
-
EMMA STOTHARD (@emstoth) reported from Salford, England@bt_uk Thanks - I’ve been sent two though. I need a particular one to work as another is packed away. It’s just constantly showing a red no signal light.

Alex Davies (@alext_davies) reported from Manchester, England@bt_uk hi was expecting a call back today for a long standing issue where you are charging me for a service that should have been cancelled and I cannot use. I have rung BT about 20times & it’s still not been resolved
-
Ian Stirling (@Stirling061) reported from Salford, England@skysports and @btsport must end their collusion with Premier League clubs to rip off fans by charging £15 to view games during a pandemic. This is a very poor way to treat fans and their subscribers who already pay them large amounts. Play fair with fans.
-
Kevin Broome (@broomey66) reported from Manchester, England@bt_uk Your broadband is garbage. Wi-fi drops out constantly and lucky if I can download anything in under a day
-
Andrew (@theboytemps) reported from Turton, England@bt_uk We did get through eventually, after well over an hour. I appreciate you are busy, but for the handler not to tell us after having waited 45 minutes to speak to him that he was transferring us to another queue & putting us on hold for another half hour was really poor service.

Legendary Hamster (@LegendaryH80858) reported@ArmchairAdml @bt_uk would you like to comment on why you're treating a long standing, loyal customer as badly as this? I feel a review of his account is in order so he can be put on a new lower rate and some compensation is in order as you're ripping him off! @MartinSLewis FYI...

Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

redginger44 (@redginger44) reported@bt_uk I have raised a complaint and you already wish to close it I can’t access my account and realise I am paying more for BT sport I don’t have the time to make phone calls and clearly I am not valued as a long standing customer I left EE for same reason.

David Sinfield (@omotforest) reportedDear @bt_uk You do not have my consent to install anything on my property. If it is free, it cannot be for my benefit. It's for yours. If it's cheaper for you, you can give me a share of your savings. I had no choice over the digital voice downgrade. @openreach will have to trespass to install it. If it is a condition of receiving service, say so and I will seek alternatives. (@Starlink or 5g) Is it on the T&C's? A letter is on its way to your registered address. David Sinfield.
