I say "one" after the beep, it says I'm saying "eight". I assumed it was my actual phone but I've now replaced it with a BT one and it does the same. Help please!

Openreach damaged my property, this happened over a month ago and BT palmed me off to Openreach who palmed me off to Keoghs. Simon Conway-Smith (@SConwaySmith) reportedIf @bt_uk/@WeAreOpenreach want to survive, they need their current customer service systems consigning to the scrap heap. They are simply unfit for purpose. Took OVER 1 HOUR to raise a service request online to repair a vandalized external fibre connection, it should have taken 5 minutes, then the wrong address was assigned to the case and an engineer 85 miles away called to say he'd be there in a few minutes 🥴 Give me strength!

Shame on you, I thought those days of not caring about your long standing customers was over.
