Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Scissett and nearby locations:

  • JDevlin116 James Devlin (@JDevlin116) reported from Kirkburton, England

@bt_uk Yes, they are dealing with it, but so slowly and in an inconvenient manner e.g. only resolving via phone call. This wouldn’t be a problem but reception at my house is terrible so calls won’t come through

  • PastPostPro Dan Walsh (@PastPostPro) reported from Dewsbury, England

@bt_uk are genuinely the worst. Poor communication since starting my contract with them, poor resolution to a complaint that nearly lasted a year!! And to top it all off, my actual product didn't work until months after the order date, and would be described as patchy at best.

  • BenWFinch91 BWF (@BenWFinch91) reported from Dewsbury, England

@bt_uk Ive been on hold for 10 mins bt customer service. Maybe get someone to answer the phone

  • JDevlin116 James Devlin (@JDevlin116) reported from Kirkburton, England

@bt_uk very disappointed to find that I was being charged for a service I did not ask for or use, when contacting customer services the process is very slow with two weeks between calls meanwhile I have to pay for the privilege of having BT sport despite not having a a TV licence

  • jill_lyttle Jill Lyttle (@jill_lyttle) reported from East Ardsley, England

@btbusinesscare hi can someone please call me re my contract renewal I called a few mins ago got through to someone and then got cut off!! My landline is not working as don’t have a handset currently so calling from mobile can you call me on 07808138159 thanks

  • briangeehx Brian Gee (@briangeehx) reported from Greetland, England

@btsport How do you cancel BT Sport account when you are not accepting calls !!!!

  • TheLittleChef 𝕊𝕥𝕖𝕡𝕙𝕖𝕟 𝕁𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕤𝕠𝕟 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇪🇺 (@TheLittleChef) reported from Slaithwaite, England

Another potential Wi-Fi-less few days it seems. I’m not entirely sure @bt_uk’s fix of tying a tree branch away from the main box using blue nylon cord wrapped round a large rock has been a total success, you know.

  • D4vid_w David (@D4vid_w) reported from Middlestown, England

    @ann_Errr @mattycougar @doomedparade @Kristofferr__ @DeanCoombes @mrjakehumphrey @btsport While ever there’s human involvement there’ll always be errors.

  • colinmounsey colin mounsey (@colinmounsey) reported from Chapletown, England

    After @WWEPR @WWEUK ridiculous decision to move to @btsport I have moved to @AEWrestling ... and it’s not bad .... #badforbusiness ... such a shame. #greedisnotgood

  • JDevlin116 James Devlin (@JDevlin116) reported from Kirkburton, England

@bt_uk Hi Lesley, I have just been on the phone with customer services. When I moved house I changed contract and only wanted broadband but I now find that I’ve been paying for tv and sport since last year. As you will see from my usage data I have never used either

  • aliceproctor_ Ali (@aliceproctor_) reported from Brighouse, England

@bt_uk are an actual JOKE. Meant to come today to install WiFi at our new address (that we’ve already gone without for almost a week in a house that barely gets signal or 4G) didn’t turn up because they ‘ran out of time’ and now aren’t coming til Friday

  • Jimmy81doog James (@Jimmy81doog) reported from Gildersome, England

@tomhj123 @bt_uk I have been told the same this with regards to it being outside of the period but to give them their due they have now started digging deeper for me. Hopefully both of our issues will be resolved quickly.

  • LanghornMatthew matthew langhorn (@LanghornMatthew) reported from Halifax, England

@redliz @bt_uk @btsport btsport charge an absolute fortune for their service. It’s hard enough so the moment without being fleeced for “live” football that may not reappear this year! @bt_uk you really need to rethink this decision, try ringing @SkySports they can tell you how to do it!

  • Trev_Moulton Trev Moulton (@Trev_Moulton) reported from Huddersfield, England

@btsport @WWEUK I can potentially see this being used for the WWE Network, which may help in bolstering awareness of the NXT UK brand.

  • BenWFinch91 BWF (@BenWFinch91) reported from Dewsbury, England

@bt_uk Home move the service has been so poor if youre not here ti install my Internet on the next date you provided im going to go with virgin or sky

  • Antoinne73 Vampire Bait (@Antoinne73) reported from Rotherham, England

@virginmedia Nah - I’m not chasing anymore - 18/19years of loyalty and you treat me like shit - I’ll let my contract run down and join @skyuk or @bt_uk

  • guyr_23 GuyRobertshaw (@guyr_23) reported from Greetland, England

Maybe if he sparred he wouldn’t be spent after the 8th! Poor training! #kovalevvsyarde #btsport

  • BenWFinch91 BWF (@BenWFinch91) reported from Dewsbury, England

@bt_uk service has been absolutely awful. Made to wait till today for home move after moving the beginning of the month. Then you cancel.

  • Sijones73 Simon Jones (@Sijones73) reported from Castleford, England

So @btsport , with the shutdown of 99% of sporting events why haven’t you offered the same as Sky Sports to pause direct debits until the current Pandemic has passed and regular sport is back in action, this is a really poor showing!!

  • kdebotia1 Karl Murthick (@kdebotia1) reported from Castleford, England

Very poor from @NicolaAdamsOBE but she's been out for a while n the ring rust showed, better to come from her. @btsport

  • butty2511 Butty (@butty2511) reported

Tell me @bt_uk if my router doesn’t provide a service to all of my house does that mean the equipment is faulty or is it that your equipment not up to the job? Further that when I’m through to your ‘help’ service whether it’s appropriate to be cut off ?

  • co5design co5design (@co5design) reported

@bt_uk still can't get an answer, not a good service is it?

  • SkeltonTony Tony skelton (@SkeltonTony) reported

@bt_uk Don’t think you have the point . There are a lot of BT customers that have same problem in Torpoint area . The broadband keeps dropping out & is impossible to use BtTv . There was no issues until an outage occurred in area Wednesday . It would appear fault has not been fixed.

  • jkerrlfc Jack (@jkerrlfc) reported

@bt_uk The issue is everything, my television broadband is awful it’s really laggy, my internet is somehow hitting 4000 ping when I’m near the internet box whilst running only one thing, why should I have to pay all this money for internet when I have to sit in my room on mobile data?

  • CottageHotel2 The Cottage Hotel (@CottageHotel2) reported

@btbusinesscare If you could provide me with details of your formal complaints procedure I will pursue it that way. I have spoken to your representatives who are adamant it is perfectly acceptable to treat me as a second class customer. Can you actually do anything or just offer platitudes?

  • asye2014 asye jokes (@asye2014) reported

@bt_uk This package is good, had for a year and it has been solid, 4 tvs streaming, phones, laptops, Xbox, no issues👍

  • CBesty1990 Chris Best (@CBesty1990) reported

@bt_uk Hi Janet, We have had no active line, and the engineers have twice gone and activated the wrong address, despite all of the equipment being delivered to the correct address. It’s costing my business money and no-one is able to help, can you?

  • rogeroflocksley Roger of Locksley (@rogeroflocksley) reported

@bt_uk ever since our land line was moved from a copper wire connection to a wifi/fibre broadband connection, it hasn't worked called your fault-finding people (on my non-BT mobile), but a very thorough investigation showed all green lights on their screens it doesn't work

  • AMontguire Andrew (@AMontguire) reported

@bt_uk Need help about an old account I had with yourself

  • jamesgbrooke James Gordon Brooke (@jamesgbrooke) reported

Wondering why, 5 years after I first alerted them to the problem, @Ofcom are still allowing @bt_uk @BTGroup to continue to be in breach of Ofcom General Conditions 18 and/or 22?
