@bt_uk hi, I'm very disappointed that my broadband price has gone up to £31+ per month, I didn't sign up for that price, is there any way I can cancel my contract, as it's not feasible for me in the long run? Thanks.

@WeAreOpenreach You have been contacted by my husband regarding this issue yet you have failed to respond. Please advise what further action we will need to take to get this issue fixed. #openreach #customerservice #bt_uk #britishtelecom

Another potential Wi-Fi-less few days it seems. I’m not entirely sure @bt_uk’s fix of tying a tree branch away from the main box using blue nylon cord wrapped round a large rock has been a total success, you know.

  • Mcollinson72
Michael Collinson (@Mcollinson72) reported from Wakefield, England

@btsport your streaming app on my tv is absolutely crap, keeps going off on my 300Mb broadband service. Not good enough for £25 per month. What am I paying for?

@bt_uk are an actual JOKE. Meant to come today to install WiFi at our new address (that we’ve already gone without for almost a week in a house that barely gets signal or 4G) didn’t turn up because they ‘ran out of time’ and now aren’t coming til Friday

  • PatsyT31
PatsyT (@PatsyT31) reported from Fenay Bridge, England

@bt_uk We decided try BT for our TV and WIFI after shocking service with Virgin. 3 weeks after our install date we still have neither. 3/4 phone calls per week to your CS dept. on hold for 50 minutes each time.

  • BenWFinch91
BWF (@BenWFinch91) reported from Dewsbury, England

@bt_uk Home move the service has been so poor if youre not here ti install my Internet on the next date you provided im going to go with virgin or sky

  • LanghornMatthew
matthew langhorn (@LanghornMatthew) reported from Halifax, England

@redliz @bt_uk @btsport btsport charge an absolute fortune for their service. It’s hard enough so the moment without being fleeced for “live” football that may not reappear this year! @bt_uk you really need to rethink this decision, try ringing @SkySports they can tell you how to do it!

  • briangeehx
Brian Gee (@briangeehx) reported from Greetland, England

  • greggo_2
Mark Gregory (@greggo_2) reported from Normanton, England

@BTCare I don’t pay for @btsport due to an offer, rang to cancel only to be told I would be charged an early termination fee!!! #Unbelievable

  • PastPostPro
Dan Walsh (@PastPostPro) reported from Dewsbury, England

@bt_uk are genuinely the worst. Poor communication since starting my contract with them, poor resolution to a complaint that nearly lasted a year!! And to top it all off, my actual product didn't work until months after the order date, and would be described as patchy at best.

  • PatsyT31
PatsyT (@PatsyT31) reported from Fenay Bridge, England

After yet another no-show by @WeAreOpenreach today, we rang @bt_uk CS team who said they would call back with an update. Almost 6 hours later, no call received. You call this "service"?

  • missamandacook
Amanda cook (@missamandacook) reported from Barnsley, England

@bt_uk make it quite impossible to claim the reward card. None of the links work and as a new customer I have to say making contact with BT is also a huge battle. One new link after another Not really impressed already !

  • jobinatinnemans
jobinatinnemans (@jobinatinnemans) reported from Meltham, England

@bt_uk our internet went off on the 20th and you might repair it on the 25th? Fix phone on the 26th? Misleading to call yourself superfast broadband.

  • markyp66
Mark Pritchard (@markyp66) reported from Gildersome, England

.@bt_uk you wait for an hour for someone to answer your call, then they say they can’t help and cut you off, need to get another provider who can do what they sell you

@bt_uk Hi. I have changed my password, still can't get in, saying can't load. Rang the number you gave me. What number do you press as no options for problems logging into account. Help

  • SanatoriumSteve

@bt_uk Hey BT or EE or whoever the hell u identify as at the moment. Sort ur damn app out!! Logged out multiple times over past few days, for what reason?? Have had to verify who I am each time!! That's including the 2 hrs wait for a text verification code just to continue!!

  • aledeniz
    Alessandro Riolo (@aledeniz) reported

@bt_uk @ee How clueless you all are, asking me to confirm a security code received via email while I am trying to log in to your Wi-Fi hotspots? Has anyone ever tested that process on an iPhone? 🧐 What happens when the user leaves the login process to check the email? 🤨

  • KerZE87
    emze (@KerZE87) reported

@bt_uk your service in the Deal area has been absolutely appalling the last few days. If my wifi goes down again I’d like money off my next bill if not all of it. Why am I paying £83 a month for a shoddy connection?

  • DaveKendallPho1
    Dave Kendall (@DaveKendallPho1) reported

@bt_uk I have an email inviting me to sign up for BT mobile phone plan. I was with BT for yrs then you discontinued your mobile plans and past me on to EE mobile. They were crap. Now you’re doing mobile again. I don’t get it.

  • GraemeDavis
    Graeme Davis (@GraemeDavis) reported

@bt_uk Your comment sounds fine @bt_uk but your team in this line appear not to be authorised to cancel an appointment and not rebook it. How do I contact someone whohas the authorisation to do this?

  • GraemeDavis
    Graeme Davis (@GraemeDavis) reported

@bt_uk Thanks for responding. The situation is crazy. I just want to cancel and not rebook an engineer visit. It should be simple. But instead spend an age on the phone and escalate? It’s disproportionate for a simple task.

  • MattHopkins1620
    MattHopkins1620 (@MattHopkins1620) reported

@bt_uk are committed to excellent customer service, they say so when you ring them. Then they say they're very busy and they promise to speak to you within 20 minutes or you could ring back. Hint, excellent customer service starts with answering the bloody phone.

@WasSamLowryEsq @bt_uk @openreach The French call it demerdisation. Removing the ****. It's how I flew under the radar when I lived in France in an unapproved residence. Basically you keep the local mayor on side* and don't let anything escalate to the departement. *May involve 5L of wine a couple of times a year.

  • Staggly
    Paul stagg (@Staggly) reported

@bt_uk @stokeygurl it’s a massive issue they’ve caused know all about - i can’t see bills or sort my wifi out or even renew a contract - so i’m leaving as they have been rude and unhelpful
