@AskNationwide maybe you can help me, seeing as your in-branch staff just said “go online” and your phone line has had me on hold for 30 minutes. I want to close a savings account and take out the money, but I can see no button to click on for this in online banking.

@AskNationwide why are the cashiers in your EMPTY Twickenham branch refusing to accept a cash deposit over the counter? Instead directing me to use a paying in machine stating FlexDirect accounts are self service accounts. Great way to lose a customer. 👍🏾

@AskNationwide hi there I am opening a nationwide instant access saver account . I need to be able to pay in cash/cheque in branch every now and again do I need a cash card to do this? If so can I still open the account on line . Many thanks!

@AskNationwide Thanks Liz, it’s regarding Early Repayment Charges in relation to when I pay my mortgage each month and when it expires. I have also tried using the chat function on the website and appear to have been disconnected from that too.

@AskNationwide So the person who eventually picked up was very helpful, but perhaps you need to recruit more staff to man the lines? The mortgage adviser not replying is still a problem - hopefully I'm going to complete soon so it won't be an issue for me, but you may want to look at that.

@AskNationwide She has sent me an email saying: 'Nationwide have advised due to their extended service levels due to an influx of applications, it is in the queue to be assessed and is due back Monday 18th July'

@AskNationwide Yes, it doesn’t work either. Just says theres a service issue, even trying to increase by at little as £10 doesn’t work. It’s not working on a few of the student accounts of those in 3rd year also
