Chris (@ChrisHa21736755) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE The UK mobile companies have been dealing with massive 4G and 5G investment costs and ever decreasing margins due to reducing contract prices. Meanwhile mobile use continues to rise leading to network congestion. All part of a healthy competitive market you might say.
-
Amelia Eberhardt-Armstrong (@SoSoaksy) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 They are reducing signal strength to save electricity costs. They even boast about how they reduce energy consumption by switching equipment off/running in lower power. Esp in non peak periods such as overnight. Doesn’t seem to be subject to regulatory measures

Hugies (@HughEdw54983916) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I thought you believed in the free market. It's not the government's job to support mobile phone operators.

Mr H (@silestanix) reported@O2 I've got a formal complaint pending at the moment so I doubt online team could push it any further but appreciate you guys wanting to look into this, will DM you the complaint reference number. And yes, PAC code would be good too, will send my number in that same dm.
-
Chris (@Chris94501165) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 Tom, cell masts use this thing called electricity. Essentially O2 are underpowering them due to the cost of energy. The bad news for you is that the cost of Net Zero is increasing those energy costs. Who enshrined it in to law? Secondary order consequences are a thing...
-
Ben (@Ben91530293) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 Thought it was just me.. Kent is like a black hole when it comes to phone signal.
